New update for LineageOS-18.1 RMX1931/CN

CHANGELOGS:
1. Initial build for RUI2 firmware support (Added benefits: There won't be any random reboots for 12GB memory variants)
2. Misc changes

INSTRUCTIONS:
method 1:
1. Switch to RUI1.0 stock firmware & update to RUI2.0
2. Reboot to bootloader
3. Flash Recovery and vbmeta
4. Reboot to recovery
5. Flash latest lineage-18.1 package & google apps (optional)
6. Format data (Not the wipe), if you're formatting device through fastboot, use this command
Code: 
fastboot format:ext4 userdata
7. Reboot to the system.

Downloads for method 1:
Global stock ROM: RUI2.0_F.14
CN stock ROM: RUI2.0_F.10

method 2:
1. Reboot to your existing recovery TWRP or OFOX
2. Flash firmware only file provided below
3. Flash latest lineage-18.1 package & google apps (optional)
4. Format data (Not the wipe), if you're formatting device through fastboot, use this command

5. Reboot to the bootloader, Flash Recovery
6. Reboot to the system

Notes:
Clean flash is always recommended
Don't flash Magisk it won't work & isn't my concern.
Formatting userdata using fastboot method will switch the default file system to f2fs, so it's recommended to format only using Recovery

Hai guys i need a help badly please,
when the update came at telegram group my mistake i didnt read the description just did a dirty flash as always
now am stuck at bootloader. I can find my device with fastboot so i try to flash recovery and vbmeta my bad luck still
stuck at bootloader. Please help me

Hi DEV:

2 problems

Orange Fox 11.06 always go to bootloader after flasing correctly.

Only i can flash 11.0 version.

Flasing global rom posted for you apear this:

Thanks Karthick for continuing to support our device!
I'm trying to follow method 2 but I also have the problem that the flashed recovery won't start. I've tried your provided OrangeFox as well as a TWRP that somebody in another post has developed for rui2. Both have the same result, I cannot start the recovery. For now I've flashed my old (twrp 3.5) again and I can boot into recovery. System still booted fine all along.

Flash looks normal to me, is 3 seconds for a 80mb flash reasonable?

Did you boot in to updated os? and can please share twrp link or file, am still at bootloader cant boot in to recovery!

You will have to find a recovery.img suited for RUI1. You can use the file you used last time or download the one Karthick has posted in the initial post here. Flash that with fastboot, then recovery should work again. Once in recovery wipe system and then install the version of LOS you had before (not the latest).

Download it from 3rd party website, your device is detected as pixel 6 to make safety net pass, without it banking apps won't be working.. & it's a big problem for everyone than just for 1 guy who uses some music player when there is several alternatives exists.

    tried both, but with a patched boot it stopped booting(because oft missing ramdisk i guess). with a patched twrp recovery it works.
    What I dont understand is, that magisk is always enabled, even if i do a normal restart and not going via recovery. But OK. I am happy, because all is working. Banking apps. Safetynet test apps all passes. :)
