I honestly don't know how this could help. They use different telephony stack, same what we had before. But I've updated it.

Why users never read, I don't want to repeat things on every page here. It's really frustrating. Please just leave this ROM.
Sorry I was not trying to offend you, I was only offering alternatives that it is currently working on.
I don't expect you to fix it I, appreciate you keeping the device alive as long as you have.

It's just one page back:

I'm sorry, but I have to weigh up what is more important to me. Owners of new devices of course want all device-festures like in Stock. If they buy a device with 5G for example, then they also want to be able to use it, which is only possible with current CAF sources in non-Pixel devices. Unfortunately, older devices have to take a back seat.

Other ROMs with old Q stack don't help. I know the way back to Q stack which works for only a particular group of people better btw. For this I don't need to look at other ROMs. But won't happen. I need this for current devices.

Not meant badly but a serious recommendation. It is better for you if you are affected with SMS issue to change the ROM. I don't know if it will be fixed in CAF upstream at some point.

No Android 11 ROM has this yet expect PixelDust ROM. They only have rounded corner, no content padding and sb padding and it's marked as WIP. It was included few builds ago, but I removed it because it didnt work well. It was drawing corners in the middle of the screen after some time. With stability in mind, I preferred to remove it.
Ah, I see, that's understandable. Is it a limitation of Android 11, or is it something that will probably get added in the future?

I'm downloading the latest beta build of the ROM. I haven't tried a ROM in years but now that my 5T is aging, I don't mind tweaking my device. I'll be reviewing it briefly soon. I'm still so happy that devs still produce ROMs for 5T!

After updating to build 2021-02-21 I noticed that I wasn't able to send SMS when on LTE. I was able to receive them and send MMS messages but not regular SMS. If I switched to 3G, the SMS would send. Even after updating to build 2021-02-23 the issue persisted.

I even clean flashed the latest build to make sure the issue wasn't being caused by me dirting flashing. That didn't fix the issue. The only thing that fixed the issue was going back to build 2021-02-06.
Had the same issue on Mint Mobile, dirty flashing 2021-02-06 fixed it for me too.

I'm not sure as to the issue, but crDroid on Android 11 runs fine with no SMS issues. Thanks.

Thanks @NurKeinNeid

Do you know why my OnePlus5T is not going to deep sleep? I have attached a screenshot from BetterBatteryStats that shows Proximity sensor is waking up the device. I went through all the settings to see if I can find any relevant setting but couldn't.

I did a clean flash recently, clearing everything including internal, and yes, I am on the 10.1 firmware.

I am running the previous build. Going to dirty flash the latest now.

According to your screenshot it's whatsapp draining your battery. You can restrict sensor permission in app info settings, uninstall WA or try if lazy kernel can change this behavior.

Oh I see how you intrepreted that. The WA icon is right beside the text but it has nothing to do with that. The text info is in a modal. I have outlined the modal to show that. This showed up when I clicked on Android System.

I will update here if I find any solutions.

I'm not a kernel dev and don't care when I don't notice unusually drain. I'm not so much into squeezing out the last bit of battery. I can only recommend lazy kernel again. With lazy kernel dev you can also discuss about such stats. He knows way better than me.

Alright, thank you for suggesting that. I will look into it.

Thanks again for keeping this ROM updated. The ROM has been very stable for me.

Hi OP, community

Could someone please post screenshots of the available options in Settings on the most recent build? Or are there already some in a post that I didn't notice?

Trying to figure out if it's time to jump ship from MSM-Xtended...

Cheers

Just a little PSA. This ROM will not let you use unsecure wifi enterprise.
Read more here.
This is not a limitation from this ROM but from Android 11.

Sadly I can't use wifi enterprise right now, but I hope my company will support the proper certificates one day.

I very much like this ROM today. Very stable for the features that I use from a day to day basis.

    I read all your answers.

first, sorry if you felt that I was complaining, again it's difficult for me to write on another language.

My only goal was to share my issues. I thought I was helping.

On the other hand, i completely understand that you felt I was complaining. So again, I'm sorry and you're right in everything you said

I really appreciate your work and didn' t want to troll this thread
I would also like to apologize. I am since the Corona pandemic less relaxed than other users may know it from me so far and react sensitively sometimes. Especially after a stressful day.

Thanks also to all for the kind words of encouragement. I am unfortunately often torn. I have trouble coping with the growth of the ROM. Some may remember how it all began. I really just wanted to run Aosip on my op5t. And now I take care of tens of maintainers and have to pay attention to many things. :)
    6
Guys sorry for the delay, i woke up to noon, anyway here's cheeseburger build
SF and gdrive changelog are same with dumpling.
thanks for all your feedback and support ofc.
    5
Finally, I would like to say that it is very unfair to measure a custom ROM, which is also a major Android version further than the manufacturer itself, with the same standards as an OEM. I think that's also why I'll probably stop doing DerpFest in S. It's this constant feeling that you don't do enough, even though you're up late at night and trying to find time besides your full-time job and family.
Thanks for your continuous work on this ROM and support for OP5T. I'm last 3 years I bought few phones to replace it but sold them all after a week. I flashed DerpFest 5 months ago and thanks to you I'm still happily using my OP5T. Stable clean ROM, QS layout customisation and long press power button to toggle torch when screen off, that's all I look for. I'm adding AdAway, Vanced YouTube, Nikita's GCam and I have all I need.
I may be not that active in the thread, but I'm following carefully.

Remember it's a hobby, do don't get stressed with it. Do only as much as pleases you and have fun. It's us users who owe you.
    Thank you!
