****! I love this rom!
I Hope you provide updates etc.

Thank you very much npv12!

Edith: Found the first Bug.
- The extraction of a (6gb, 7k small pictures inside) zip file takes 13h, while the same extraction takes 30-40 minutes on oos.
- Everything else is fast and fluid. This is somehow weird.

(I zipped the pictures folder for a backup with solid explorer, now unzipping it again xD)

Edit2: ignore it, it was done after 30 minutes, just solid explorer showed 13h ETA.
So there are no bugs! 😘😂

is it possible, that you provide a "vanced youtube" version?
They require microg apps, but since you integrated gapps, i dont think that we can flash any other gapps ontop 🙈

cheers ✌️

okay i have something.

Blue = Navigation Layout
Red = The grey penetrating background, behind the navigation helping indicator/line
Screenshot_20210330-225618565.jpg

Is it possible to make that grey background behind the navigation line transparent?
because it nervs even while i watch videos in a webbrowser in fullscreen... aka porntube 😂
just kidding 🤭

EDIT: I have removed the pill completely, that works too. it's a good workaround. So probably it doesn't matter anyway and is solved.

And could you provide either an magisk patched kernel or an small indicator, how to extract your rom? because it's in bin format and with renaming to tar.gz or zip, i failed 😂
(to get the boot image (kernel?) out of your rom archive)

cheers 😂

EDIT2: I wanted root to update vanced youtube, but don't need anymore. root isn't recommended for that anyway.
just install everything till you have vanced youtube v16.02, once you reached that point, you can deinstall microg and everything else. vanced youtube will still work perfectly.

Cheers 😘😂

Just flashed this rom last night and I'm enjoying it so far. One thing I did notice is that my car radio does not detect which song and artist is playing when I am connected over bluetooth, at least with Spotify. I have not had a chance to try with any other apps. I know it was working before on OOS 10 and 11, so it is most likely just this rom from what I can tell. Otherwise I am really enjoying it, especially the Verizon support!

How is the FPS performance on this rom? Anyone tried?
if you mean finger print sensor, it works good.
it's definitively slower as on oos, it takes like a half second longer to recognize the finger.
But it works.

what i seen so far is, that the accuracy differs between the animations. There are tons of fingerprint animations in this rom. Some animations leads to faster or slower or sometimes even failing unlock.
But probably this is something that will get solved by itself, if you delete and add your finger again, after you selected your animation that you like.

however, from my side, fingerprint unlock works good, just a bit slower. that's the conclusion.
(on oneplus 7 pro)

While face unlock is a pain in the ass with this rom. Because of that security (feature?) that it asks every time if it's allowed to open the camera...
And you can't turn it completely off...
So im not using face unlock.
To be clear, face unlock itself works perfectly. Just there is a message everytime the camera opens, and this one message makes it unusable 😂

cheers

For the face unlock point. Yes it is a pain which will be fixed in future. You will see it in changelog when fixed

Hello, may I have a request?
It may be stupid, but can you add version number to the main name of the ROM? It will be easier if the release version is named something like "Derpfest v1.0", and the next one will be "Derpfest v2.0" etc. and date of the update release in the name of this thread

How do people supposed to know which one is which one? There is going to be different versions of your rom after all. Some with some bugs or with new features. People might want to go back to previous version or install a specific version. Numbering your versions would be a good idea. It's up to you though.

So, how can we update the firmware?

You can download the firmware using this link. To update the firmware, flash this in twrp and then flash the rom. Then flash whatever you need like twrp etc. And reboot.

    Hope that clears up

no one knows what you want😂

    @npv12
Is it somehow possible to implement the high brightness toggle into normal brightness slider?
Like simply increase the brightness of the slider?

i use that button quite often, as it's amazing how much you still get out.

what i found out is, that that toggle makes no difference if you use dc dimming, either because dc dimming slider max value is same as high brightness toggle or the toggle doesn't work there 😂
i think feelingwise, dc dimming mode has higher brightness, so the toggle makes no difference, and it's exactly perfect.

i would let the toggle constantly active in normal mode, but once you change the brightness via slider and back to max, it's not as bright as in high brightness toggle mode. So you need to deactivate/activate it again. That's the problem.

    Don't tel
No I won't implement hbm into the brightness slider. Hbm slowly destroys the display and hence using it for prolonged time will have effects on screen. Implementing onto the slider will only cause people to destroy the screen.

As for dc dimming, when you enable it, hbm isn't as bright as when it is disabled. This led to whatever you experienced.

If I downgrade the firmware without boot to system and then flash the ROM, could I brick the phone?
    Should work fine
