Hey, great ROM, love it, any possibility of getting it to work with T-Mobile unlocked folks. My Mobile Network is greyed out, no place to enter an apn. Maybe a flash of the correct modem? Love the rom anyway, just got no mobile data. Says sim unknown. But *#06# gives all the correct info. Thank you much dev, you rock!

OnePlus 7 Pro
wide angle camera not working for me. (No option for 0.6x, cant zoom out)
Google camera also crashing when trying to open.

It also didn't work on previous ROM (Xtended)

Any help appreciated....

My Installation procdure:
1. wipe data, dalvik, internal storage. Fromat data. (in TWRP)
2. flash oos 10.3.8 zip file on both slots from twrp
3. flash this rom
4. flash TWRP. REBOOT
That is the correct way to flash the rom
Have you tried using oos cam to check if 0.6x work there. It can be a gcam issue as it works fine for me on gcam and oos cam.

I don't have any way to test on a tmobile. I would be making a massive rebase soon. So hopefully it will work after that.

Otherwise I will look into it more after that

Thank you very much, I sincerely appreciate it. I went back to OOS 11.0.0.2 global rom, I'm encrypted, but installed the latest TWRP and Magisk. I can't get into twrp, because no encryption support on A11, but I have root, so its all good.

DLing your new rom, will test and report back. Also, I got a modem.img elsewhere for T-mobile and will dirty flash on top of your rom - if I get no sim card activity.

I appreciate your time and know it takes a lot to do this rom development.

THANK YOU!!

Hey, please remember to flash oos10 before you flash derpfest 11.
Or wait a little bit longer till gwolfu update the the necessary blobs/code etc, to be able to use oos 11 as base.

Twrp development stopped, so it won't be compatible with encrypted a11 anyway anytime soon. Means we are stucked on unencrypted a11 roms, or need to wipe our devices for every update if we run encrypted a11.
I have a proof of concept how we can theoretically run a11 encrypted custom roms with oos11 as base, but anyway, updates will require a full wipe.

However, hopefully npv updates the rom/code/blobs for oos11 anytime soon, since there is no a real reason to wait for twrp.
But for now you have to flash oos10 before you flash derpfest.

The only hope i have is, that the lineage team makes their recovery fully working for a11 with the ability to flash custom roms.

Cheers

Thanks Rama,

Yes, I am aware of these issues and the lack of utilities and tools within the Lineage recovery steers me away from it. But, if it can work with A11 encrypted, to at minimum, run the dm verity - unencryption script, I'd be happy. Having to wipe and go back to a10 blows, I have done it many, many times though.

Much appreciated...., also, I hope the blobs are the answer to fixing the inactive sim card issue with t-mobile branded phones. I'm looking through the stock build.prop and looking for differences between it and this rom (and others). ;)

Device trees with A11 blobs have been up for about 3 weeks now (like, LineageOS, YAAP for 7P, probably a lot more for OP SM8150 in general) so waiting for someone isn't really a thing.

No, you don't have to wipe everytime you have to install an update because you are encrypted. How does that even make sense?

You can flash custom roms in lineage recovery provided you sideload it. Recoveries from userdebug builds are relatively feature rich compared to AOSP recovery.

i have a tmobile...i had already done the conversion (search site)...and i FLASH ALL ROMS WITHOUT ISSUE...(except 5G of Course)...Derpfest works flawless. If your issue is legitimate it might be because u didnt base from a global? other wise flash again..TWRP and MAGISK work with ALL roms (NORMAL WAY WE FLASH)..except A11 OOS

i didn't knew that lineage recovery actually works, to flash roms tbh.
it doesn't even ask for a password to decrypt the storage.
But i guess it updates only the system partition anyway, that is not decrypted.

    However, need to try myself.

Sure, would love to test. I went back to OOS10 stock, then rooted, twrped, deencrypted, then OOS11, then cr droid 11, all is working good now. Used lineage recovery to flash most everything, including twrp (the latest). Thanks Rama and Teflon for the advice, and thank you npv12 for creating this masterpiece, which I will try again and report back.

Great community, much appreciated, thank you.

If you talk about the beta, im running it and it works fine, just didn't had the time to restore back everything on my device, since i made a clean flash.
    What you need anyway.

And npv didn't even released the beta official, and he mentioned it clearly that it's a testbuild, i mean, even if it would break my device (im prepaired for that)

but fastboot works always, no matter what rom you have, probably ****ty usb cable?

What i walked personally into is, that 90% of my usb cables doesn't work in fastboot mode. While they do fine for normal usb file transfers.
    It's super weird. But whatever.
(i can't try the original op cable, cause it died long time ago, but a logitech one that comes with mx master 3 works.)
While an replacement usb-c "oneplus fast charging" cable, doesn't work 😂

    Cheers

thxs for help I`m back to RROS, too much frustration.

The requirements indicate OOS 10.3.8. I am running the latest EU firmware for privacy reasons and it had less bloat. Are there any issues flashing to a GM1915 (T-mobile) that's been "converted" to an international running EU firmware (and as I type this I'm realizing just how far off the beaten path I've gone)?
It needs oos 11.0.1.1 I forgot to update the requirement after updating the blobs.
It would be fine ig to flash on T-Mobile.
      1
hey man sorry to bother you.
hope its ok to ask you a question.
iv never been encrypted, so can you please tell me which OOS im supposed to be on and then how i can get a working twitter that will allow me to flash Derpfest? Is the only way thru payload dumper?

again sorry to bother to you, thanks
go with unecrypted, it's easier. twrp works and it's not complicated. follow the flashing instructions in the crdroid thread.
