yes, but aod is static, means the things doesn't float around/changes positions.
but you can enable it only for take up and one tip/touch...
same is with oos and other roms.

battery drain is pretty good, you get a day of good usage, or i get a day with normal usage. dunno how to explain this. It almost doesn't matter what you do, it's always a day. that's how i would describe it 😂

I've noticed the same thing about battery drain; I'm on DerpFest on my OnePlus 5T also, with same setup, I only flashed another Kernel (Lazy), and I get about 0.45% on idle drain and about 8% on active use, with about 2 days without charging and about 3.5 hours of SOT.
With the 7Pro I get about 1% on idle and about 12% on active use ,with about 1days without charging and about 3 hours of SOT.
I've tried other Kernels but with the same behavior; only with Galt's Gulch Kernel (last pre-R version) I noticed a little improvement.
BBS seams to say that the culprit is "Android system"…
I bought my 7Pro less than a month ago, and I immediately unlocked it and flashed DerpFest, so I don't know if this is the normal behavior for this device, because I don't have other terms of comparison (with OOS or other ROMs). Maybe it's an Android R "issue", or maybe because of Android 10 blobs, I don't know, I'm not a dev, but I hope that with next build, the situation will improve, thanks to Derp Kernel, 11 blobs and new EAS model.

    Great looking ROM!
    Planning for the switch!
Just a small question,Is app lock working out of ROM encryption or launcher?
Edit: NVM, flashed and checked it. It's there.
And I could keep TWRP :O
    Awesome job!

This may be stupid, but how can I update via build in updater? Updater itself claims that I need Internet connection, and I have it, but still can't do it

I don't know if in the latest build some changes have been made in built-in Gulch Kernel, so I wonder if I upgrade to latest Gultch, I risk to compromise some features of the ROM or negatively affect battery life.
    Can someone answer me?

This Rom doesn't seem to work with Google Fi. I can't activate the software and I can't receive MMS. There is literally no option to edit the APN. Anywhere in my settings with Google Fi. Will there be a fix?

thxs for help I`m back to RROS, too much frustration.
      1
The requirements indicate OOS 10.3.8. I am running the latest EU firmware for privacy reasons and it had less bloat. Are there any issues flashing to a GM1915 (T-mobile) that's been "converted" to an international running EU firmware (and as I type this I'm realizing just how far off the beaten path I've gone)?
It needs oos 11.0.1.1 I forgot to update the requirement after updating the blobs.
It would be fine ig to flash on T-Mobile.
      1
hey man sorry to bother you.
hope its ok to ask you a question.
iv never been encrypted, so can you please tell me which OOS im supposed to be on and then how i can get a working twitter that will allow me to flash Derpfest? Is the only way thru payload dumper?

again sorry to bother to you, thanks
go with unecrypted, it's easier. twrp works and it's not complicated. follow the flashing instructions in the crdroid thread.
      1
And Same thing happens when trying to flash twrp decrypted, gets stuck at fastboot logo.
Aside from trying with payload dumper (OP directions), I couldn't get twrp installed, so I gave OrangeFox recovery a try and it worked enough to let me get this amazing rom installed. Of course, it was replaced with LOS recovery once the rom installed, so for now iv given up on Twrp and I simply adb side loaded magisk for root.
Btw I applied the most recent update with built-in ota updater and it worked with no problem.
      Good luck.
Thanks for the reply. If it works with this rom, can you point me to LOS's recovery?

Ok I found it...duckduckgo to the rescue. Which nightly did you successfully boot?

I wasn't trying to install the rom via twrp...I already had that working. I wanted to be able to take backups. I've tried the 3 most recent los recovery nightlies and none boot for me.
