Hi, I ask you some trivial questions:

1. Have you downloaded MSM from here? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...0-gm21ba-collection-of-unbrick-tools.3956595/

2. Have you downloaded the lastest CORRECT Android 10 version, always from here?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...0-gm21ba-collection-of-unbrick-tools.3956595/

3. Your Op7 is in EDL Mode?

4. Your Qualcomm driver apper as QDLOADER 9008?

5. The COM port configured in MSM free and NOT used by other devices?

6. The update procedure with MSM goes without error?

7. At this point, after the MSM update, boot and OOS update you should have widevine L1

Good!!!

Now you can follow Hammered58 guide

  1. Once fastboot/adb is working u need to unlock the bootloader and install the LineageOS recovery image (follow THIS GUIDE all the way to the "Pre-install instructions" (included)
  2. Grab the 1.7 gb derpfest rom run it thru payload dumper grab the boot.img
  3. Boot to bootloader, using the boot.img from the dumper tool, fastboot flash boot boot.img
  4. Reboot to recovery ( lineage)
  5. Wipe/ format
  6. Adb sideload 1.7 gb derpfest
  7. Reboot and have fun

Hi Guys.
So my Oneplus 7Pro GM 1910 running fine on latest Derpfest rom suddenly went into Qualcomm Crash Dump Mode and was frozen.
I recovered and restarted it but am curious why this happened.
Any ideas appreciated.

sometimes it tells you what happened on other times it does not, i suspect kernel problems, is was "pretty common" in OP6 even with OOS.

I've seen crashdump a few times on my global 7 pro in the last month or so ... I haven't seen it while on DerpFest. I don't have TWRP installed..I'm not saying that's the issue just saying.. Crashdump happens for different things but from what I've read it's kernel related. I use this rom with included kernel that comes with it. I probably saw crashdump more than twenty times back when I had OnePlus 6t. I was always able to manually boot and get out of it. I keep my OnePlus devices paired to my PC when I'm at home just in case. I've read ALOT of sad stories about people who's devices would not come out of crashdump. Anyway...
Hell of a job on these builds op! I just downloaded source and sunk up and now I'm going after the repositories that I somehow did not get when I did the sync.. Trying again to get a build completed. Been at this for some days now.. I'll get it soon. I've read so many guides I was able to create my own. 😂 Trying to get these trees together so everything will build and I can be happy finally completing one. 🙏 It will happen soon. Great rom! Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.
It has happened twice in 2 days.
Before that DerpFest has been going fine for several weeks since install.
Good luck with your "project"...

EDIT 14.11.21...
I flashed the latest DORA v2.34 kernel today after backing up the stock kernel with the FKM app just in case.
Flashed fine, Dora kept Magisk so root was still good and it booted up fine.
I will monitor to see if the different kernel fixes the Qualcomm Crash Dump Mode black screen I have had at least 3 times lately...

EDIT 18.11.21...
After flashing DORA v2.34 kernel I have not had any further crash dumps but the phone did freeze once and that required a reboot through the boot loader screen.
No further issues have occurred since then.
On the 17.11.21 I flashed DORA v2.35 kernel again with no flashing issues and the phone is running fine and even seems to be using less power.
So far so good...

Anyone got SBC working on dual channel? can't find seperate option for it and dual channel is greyed in dev options, tested with Buds Z, STR-DH590 and OAP project that uses CSR based chip(4.2) without any luck.

It seems that Derpfest 11 will no longer be maintained/updated.
It's a shame because it's really running very well.
What will you existing users do?
Stay with Derp 11 or go over to Derp 12???
I intend to stay with Derp 11 for the time being as root and TWRP work well perhaps until Derp 12 reaches the same standard of features and stability...

Has anyone reported issues with ally bank's app? I have uninstalled/reinstalled it multiple times....I open the app and it just hangs on the ally screen. I managed 1 time to get it to let me login...I don't think it's specific to the rom but maybe a oneplus 7 pro issue since my android 10 op 7 pro had identical behavior.

Might be dev settings, even tho you dont see it you have "oem unlock" always on and some banking apps(like Pivo) wont work with dev settings on.

Everything seems fine in android 12 . Just auto brightness doesn't work properly sometimes , app lock is missing and in stock home luncher doesn't support custom icon but I'm using lawnchair luncher it's working fine. Best custom rom i think. Great work😎

After using it a few days I must say that Derp 12 is already a real work of art!! I extracted boot.img from payload.bin, flashed it with fastboot, booted recovery and sideloaded derp 12 on my installation. All worked fine.. I tried to just flash and not wipe but I figured I would have to wipe and I kept having crashes on an app even after wiping data on it and rebooting so I went back and did a fastboot -w and that did the trick. Restored my user apps + app data with swift backup also worked fine in case anyone else may want to know..
I've been using Android since day one, G1 and using custom roms since Nexus S days and I've never seen the first release of a rom come so full featured like this is after an Android version upgrade! Rock solid stable too! We definitely have a great dev that's for sure! 🤯😁

Anyone else not able to pair Bluetooth on Derp 12? I only have busy box installed and webview far as magisk modules go with magisk 23. I can pair my Skullcandy ear buds with Android 11 AOSP and Lineage roms fine but not with Derp 12. I've searched and tried several things to get them to pair like turning BT on then off and back on again... For some reason they just refuse to pair or be seen at all on Derp 12. Just figured I would come ask here and see if anyone else is experiencing this. I wonder if it's ab Android 12 thing and if maybe it's like this for all A12 roms or if it's specific to Derp 12. When I'm home later today, in about twelve hours from now I'll grab some logs attempting to connect with BT and flipping BT in then off and I'll post them here and on tg channel. ✌️

**Attached is a log of attempting to connect my headphones to device. Not sure if if will help or show anything that helps but there it is. If more info is needed please let me know and I will immediately gather it and post it. Thanks for your time.
