I'm in the same situation.
Downgraded from OxygenOS 11 to 10, then:
Flash recovery > Reboot recovery > Factory Reset > Sideload Rom > and... reboot directly into Qualcom CrashDump mode.

I don't know if I'm forgetting something.

Thanks in advance and nice job!
I have managed to get it working.
The problem was with my device. I restored to Oxygen OS 10 and installed a GSI Rom. Finally reinstalled Derpfest following the installation steps.

Maybe the unbrick tool left something wrong?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

I've tried flashing this rom multiple times, but everytime wi-fi, and wifi-hotspot don't work. They try to turn on but after a while return to off, with sometimes words error on them. Usb-tethering only works when usb debugging is on. Any idea how to fix this? Clean flashed from OOS10 and to both a and b partitions. Do I just need to try untill it works? I also had this problem with other roms like pixel, though on OOS they all work fine.

I am using this update - I had been using the first one. I'm having DNS problems. When I set up the one I used before and on stock before that, I cannot call with network or WIFI. Only if I turn off DNS can I call.

Has anyone else had such a problem ?

Now the phone will not ring - it sets the notification sound to the ring. No - not setting the volume the same either .

Anyone here able to help?

Update - has anyone else have problems with ringing. It may be a setting, but have tried all I could fine.

I thought a reflash might fix it, so again sounds like a setting. I just flashed with TWRP - no problem excepted no ringing still.

I gave up trying to fix it without wiping it , so after wiping, the call ring is back.

Now a minor annoyance item. I did not have a clock in the upper part of the home screen befor, but I do now and can't get rid of it - it takes up space.

This really isn't the place for a lot of this chatter it's called thread jacking. That being said, post your problems not ROM related in the questions and answers section and someone will help. No, all this A/B partition stuff is not this dev's problem, his ROM works fine, you've just gotta know what you're doing.

When I first flashed this version below, I had app labels on the home screen. On reflashing, I can't find any way to get them back. Any ideas ?

Note - I saw app draw setting on/off but not for home.

Update - reflashed ROM with TWRP, and setting to do so appeared in settings. Thanks for all your help.

Just curious - will there be any updates to this? I'm using it and appreciate having this update and modification of the original Nord 10N.

I hope to build an update soon.. I've been very busy and haven't had time to work much on the device.
I have already released an updated build of PixelExperience

is there any way you can build derpfest 12 for N10 an breath new life in our devices?
i have no experience in building new custom ROMS
I'll for sure be a tester for it
Considering 12 is still very early days, "new life" isn't exactly accurate since we're still pretty darn up to date. That said, once DerpFest 12 is considered relatively "stable" I will likely build it, assuming it's doable without the updated kernel from OnePlus.

I am totally stoked! I have been waiting to see if someone was going to pick up the ball and develop some more on this build. Out of all the custom ROM's for this device I like Derfest the best!! Thank you to all who made this possible again. You ROCK!
