From what I gather you can no longer modify system as easily as before so it's not letting you change anything. Dynamic partitions and stuff. What do you want to change?
i work for spectrum and one bizarre tidbit about them is that their technician app only works on select samsung devices. so typically i just edit the build.prop to match a samsung galaxy s8. i was hoping to achieve the same with my new phone

For that I think you should look into this magisk module right here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-magiskhide-props-config-t3789228

You'll need termux and type in the commands and you can basically change what you want.

Ahhh I'm not sure if this is possible on this device since I've never tried so I apologize if I can't give you the answer you're looking for on this one.

So I did get ooscam to install and what no but it's still pretty buggy so I'm still debating if I wanna release a build with ooscam. What do you guys think? Release it when it comes release time with a buggy ooscam or wait till it's more stable? So far the bugs are If you want camera capture to not fc after saving the image on 12mp (wide mode) then disable wide mode correction in the applications setting (probably missing a library).
Portrait mode still needs to be fully fixed.
Black/white camera doesn't work.
Unable to switch to video
Switching to 48 mp makes camera f/c

If you can ship with 2 cameras it'd be alright since people would have the choice to use either.. And overtime it can be made bug free also.. About Dolby are you still planning on implementing it? Since it'd be nice to be able to control it.. I can't open the moto app or disable it.. Again thanks for making this possible!

Yeah I'll include 2 cameras for now, probably gcam and ooscam. Yeah I already have Dolby implemented and working on my current build I'm on 😉 lol

Damn! That's super! Glad to see you actively making this rom better with every update.. Have you thought anything about the kernel? Any possible ones you have in mind?
Yeah I've thought of it but idk any good kernels that work good as a prebuilt outside of the one I have now. I don't flash kernels atm cause I'm too lazy so haven't tested any of em haha what's some you guys recommend and then I can test em out

Hey. Will the oneplus gallery be included in the next build? Also, will you be creating a build that is TWRP flashable which was released by apophis9283?

Yep, but the thread was posted by apophis9283. I think apophis used incognito's trees for building. Not sure though.
Yes and no. I did start with his trees. He's in my small chat on telegram. So yes collaboration was part of it. I made changes outside of his. I had source that had a ton more changes like more options in TWRP etc... But I lost that image and source when Linux entered an unrecoverable state. When I get it all back you can check periodically on my AFH in a few days. Ill have more fixes I'll be adding. Incognito was absolutely fundamental in what I did. I do not want to take away from his amazing work. Once I get everything going again, I'll be sharing my source with him.

Uploading a new build now here soon. Changelog will be in the updater. If coming from update dirty flash is okay but if coming from stock or another custom rom then clean flash is recommended. Can take ota as well whichever one you guys prefer. Big thanks goes to @AnierinB @chandu dyavanapelli & the rest of the devs that got ooscam working. Big thanks to @apophis9283 & @incognito for getting twrp for these op8 devices. It's still a bit buggy but still works. On initial reboot to twrp it takes almost a minute before it allows you to decrypt. Can flash this build through twrp, take ota or payload way.
Also ooscam works fine it's still a tad bit buggy, have to switch to 48 mp for anything to work and takes a few seconds for the picture to take but outside of that it works good. Unfortunately 12 mp is set by default working on having 48 set by default but figured I'd just release this build so you guys have some new goodies.
Thanks for being patient with me!
