I 've not this trouble, something wrong with the installation procesos maybe?

PE Recovery, Clean flash. You are happy if it works to you. It was happening to me with the previous version also. The phone suddenly stucks and is not responsible until the reset by power button.

Is this the thread of the official PE build? On PE site i see there is already an A12 build marked as stable but here I read unofficial on the title and in the first post there is a dead link to Mega as download site.

I'm using it and i works all great except"hey Google" and face unlock (is not implemented yet this one).

Hi, the mega link in the first post that is supposed to provide the rom zip file is broken - the uploaded file is not available anymore.

Okay, I flashed this ROM A12 now. I did a full wipe (data, system etc everything), then i formated data and restarted twrp.

I flashed the rom and rebooted my phone. The problems that occured is that it legit cant find my WLAN signal. It can't find it in the setup nor in the WLAN settings on the phone.

Also when I open WLAN Settings it takes 3 whole seconds to open it.

What's going on here? This happens for every A12 AOSP

Okay update: I flashed PE A11 and it's really smooth. Smoother than the A12 AOSP's, BUT the big problem is my phone still don't recognizes a WLAN signal. It's not appearing in my settings, i think the phone the signal strength kind of gets recognized but I don't see my router apparing on the phone's screen.

Can someone help me please?

Thanks, I just bought a Mi9 for my mom. I think that I will install the final A11 build because I won't touch her phone for a while so I prefer stability over features.

Check this file inside the folder (root access needed):

/vendor/firmware/wlan/qca_cld/wlan_mac.bin

Open it with a text editor. Inside, it should show you 3 lines:

Intf0MacAddress=(device specific mad address 1)
Intf1MacAddress=(device specific mad address 2)
END

These mac addresses should differ at the last letter or number.
On my device they end with "...A1" and "...A2".

If they are the same, you need to edit the second one (1up the number or letter for example).

Our device maintainer shared this info a while back on Telegram when a user had a similar issue.

Thank you for that tip! I tried to access that folder with 'Root Explorer', but I do not see a 'firmware' folder inside my vendor folder.

A11 = no (maybe yes with AOD active)
A12 = yes (regardless of AOD)

Yes, on both.

Is there still anybody on last A11 build? Does double tap to wake work regularly to you? In my case it works for a while after activation in settings than nothing. I installed the rom with PE recovery and no magisk or dfe.
