on unrooted debloated MIUI I only see
GENERAL > Touchscreen > nvtcapacitivetouchscreen
SCREEN > no touch info
INPUT > NVTCapacitiveTouchScreen id: 3 vendor: 0 product: 0 touch: 2400x1080 4d66f665aba......

Is rooted necessary to see one of the two strings above?

I was NVTCapacitiveTouchScreen, but the display was huaxing.
Maybe there's no commonality.

As my experience with other devices with different panel's, the ghost touch can be better or worse depending of the software, but can't never be fixed without changing the display...
Go to a service center if you can, as i read in other threads it's the only way for this device and only gets worse with time...

I'm not yet to service center, when in this rom crdroid, ghost touch still exist but little bit less in frequency

Back again about service center, the matter is we cannot ask specific about the replacement, if we get tianma again.. and it will be zoonk again hehe...

In my MIUI 12.5.1 the Check version info did display FSN, PHONE SN, IMEI1, IMEI2, Build #, fingerprint check, Baseband Version, Kernel Version, CPU ID, Hardware Version: MP M2102J20SG:RF...
But no LCD/Touch Info

You will be needing root to get the info.
But you in miui don't worry too much, miui is always optimized to the hardware, so the ghost touches will not appear as hard as other roms...

Rom devs will optimize the roms as the time goes by, so maybe will get to a point that will be minimum...

Thx. I have a second brand new device where Device Info HW also shows NVTCapacitiveTouchScreen.
I hope to unlock it in 60 hours and then will try at least crDroid CustomROM and in case go back to mi-globe A11 MIUI12 ROM or Stock ROM (A11 MIUI12 debloated)

Hi everyone!
First things first, thanks a lot for this amazing Rom I could install on my brand new poco x3 pro, it is excellent!
I have just a little weird issue with the camera app, if anyone knows : when I select the gallery app from the camera app, I can't delete pictures. I have to launch the gallery app separately to do it.
Anyone knows why the app behave like this?
I installed the latest crdroid 7.12 issued on 17th of November.

hello.. i have a small issue that is bugging me.... when i use viber, messenger, etc the person on the other side cant hear me.... i thought it was fixed in the latest build but i still have it and idk what to do to solve this problem is there any way 2 fix it.. ty in advance

I installed over MIUI 12.5.1 with TWRP-3.5.2-vayu-Nebrassy-2.img (unrooted noGoogle). Had the following two error messages:

E:Unable to decrypt FBE device

Wiping data...
Error opening: '/data/media' (no such file or directory)

Was able to resolve the second message by Formatting data in TWRP.
I'm now setting up crDroid +Apps and hope most will go well.

EDIT: Not sure if still best solution but here for Redmi Note 9S/Pro @LoadOP2 says to Format data after flashing the Custom ROM. I think I did flash ROM afterwards.

if you want to install a custom rom
Open recovery
Wipe data cache davilk
Flash rom
Format data
Reboot.

i have that problem, only on CrDroid , 7.12 all version,and ALL APPS (mess,fb,telegram,whatsapp,signal,gallery etc)

This is by far one the best roms out there, however, on latest rom it says it requires "Required firmware: MIUI (Global): V12.5.5.0.RJUMIXM" mine is 12.5.1.0, will it reboot?

I have used Crdroid on other phones, never had such requirements, only baseband being Android version 10,11, etc

Is CrDroid has specific firmware requirement, does anyone here knows which one is compatible with MIUI 12.5.1.0?

You're right, it is a silly question, I hadn't read it, I always like LOS and CrDroid, I rather not have to update the stock firmware, the lower the best

Very smooth ROM. So far everything is working and I'm missing nothing.
Battery life seems to be very well
