Hi there,

Just one question I have an crackling sound issue on WIFI calls especaially with my SIP Client APP with it I use my Smartphone as a landline phone, a bit crackling on telegram Wifi calls and the weird thing is Skype calls working fine. Well the most important thing is the SIP client telegram isnt necessary.

I have it on Android 10 and 11 lineageos and based Roms like yours. I tryed to fix it to only flash without Gapps and deactivated each speech input, clean dalvik cache but nothing works. Your other Rom "Rise-Q-v2.1" working fine and it is really nice, thanks for that.

It is probarbly a random Lineageos 17.1 and 18.1 issue because I read some user on other devices has the issue of crackling sound in different ways. Could it possible to fix it via installing Viper4Arise or repair Audio permissions?

Edit: Found a solution to reduce the problem a bit, install any tweaking kernel app like adiutor and set the TCP Congestion to "cubic" this helped in my case on all Lineage, CRdroid and based Roms. But not at all sometimes crackling come back for just a moment.

Hi great rom, thanks for the effort you put into it. One question, can I flash it on a Galaxy A6 2018? It has Exynos 7870 instead of 7880 and Mali-T830MP1 instead of Mali-T830MP3. Thanks.

I think you would be better off trying to flash an A3 ROM (since it has also got an 7870), but even then, you probably shouldn't flash ROMs that aren't for your device. I think at least the kernel would have to be different.

Hi, in my lock screen it says slow charging (I have enabled fast charging in the settings)! Charging speed is not that bad. I just wanna know is that a bug?
Hmm, it should normally show fast charging on lock screen too, at least it does so on Lineage.
Thanks for reporting.

With update to crDroid 7.12 (with November security patch and merged kernel updates from LineageOS) the battery consumption increased significantly.

After installing riseKernel-v1.7 the rom ran perfectly again, battery consumption reduced to about 1-2 % overnight in flight mode.

Recently I installed riseKernel-v1.8, the battery consumption worsened to about 10 % overnight in flight mode. So I switched back to riseKernel-v1.7 to reduce the battery consumption.

I will probably do without further updates, since the rom is currently running absolutely great.

Thanks I guess, but there's no need to flash Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip.

Thanks I guess, but there's no need to flash Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip.
After i installed TWRP, without this fix, the internal storage not work properly on my phone because it was encrypt by Samsung ...

On the TWRP XDA page, it's recommand to do that : "After booting in TWRP download and flash no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1 zip to disable data partition encryption" but, on my first try, opt-encrypt-6-t didn't work. So, i used Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt instead.

That's needed if you plan on using TWRP and rooting your phone when using stock ROM, but it's not necessary for custom ROMs. To get rid of encrypted data partition just format it in TWRP's wipe menu.
