Thanks! I see the occasional WiFi Drp as well. Will try disabling IPV6
I did not disable IPV6 completly! Just Router Advertisement and, i just doublechecked, Router Advertisement for my local DNSv6 (pihole).
My local DHCP for IPV6 is still active, my device including the SM-P600 get an IPv6 and IPv4 assigned and my Routers Internet Connection is also still IPV6.

But play around with all these settings. Depending on your AP/Router possible setup options might be different anyhow.

I still see occasional crashes. Sometimes the app just restarts. Sometimes the unit. Might be connectivity-related. When it happens, the leds under the "buttons" (on each side of the real home one) lights and remain lit. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. I guess there is a /var/log/messages somewhere?

Video Players, OTTs, in-browser OTTs not working

Does anyone else have issues with videos on this and previous Lineage builds? I have tried, the LuisROM builds and this one, and none of the video streamings apps (don't have Netflix etc.) but just the apps for 10Play, SBS On Demand, Nine Now, 7plus (all aussie FTA channels) do NOT play in the web browser or their native android apps. Also, None of the torrent downloaded videos play in ANY player (I have tried 7 so far).

The only thing that plays are free streaming sites like fmovies, watchserieshd etc.

Is this related to the Play Store app not certified? Is there some other library or module I need to download to help with the DRM or whatever issue is going on?

I only use this tablet to watch media, and if I can't do that with these builds then I might as well go back to the stock. At least they were playing there. I switched just to get ahead of it if in case these channels decide to stop allowing older Android SDKs

Thanks in advance

Okay i have 2 main bugs...

1. Wifi doesnt work if an SSID has WPA2/WPA3 Authentication. You must turn off WPA3 so it is only WPA2 Auth than Wifi will connect.

2. My Device is rebooting very often when i start apps. It feels like the Tablet reboots when it gets in heavy load while opening an app or even reboots when surfing in chrome and sites have to load.

I ordered a new battery i dont know if its is the resason for to low power delivery since it is the first Battery since 2014...

BTW. Tejljrs Guide on page 5 Post #81 works like a charme and i have netflix and so on my tab now...

Those are exactly my main 2 issues.

I noticed the reboots mostly seems to occur when trying to browse the web, or apps that use it to get content. Probably still wifi related, I guess.

My tablet is a SM-P601 though.

Weird I don't have of those reboot or WiFi issues. I can watch hours of content without any WiFi drop or reboot, but only these free services work. None of the official services work, regardless of the browser I use or native android app by the OTT / Cable network.

No one has this problem??

I installed ROM V1.1 yesterday on my P600. So far it has worked almost perfectly, just a few random(?) restarts at the beginning. It's much faster than the original rom. Netflix and Youtube no problems, camera works.
Now I'm looking for a solution for the S-pen. I used it a lot to write on screen images. I tried 'Air command' and 'SPenCommand' but I couldn't get them to work. Any suggestions?

Spen software is kept secret by Samsung.
I've got 3 different pen devices with custom ROMs and all can just mark, draw or write.
Read somewhere that an app can be bought to restore full pen functionality but know neither name, price or where it was on XDA.

hello, what prevents the video camera from working? I had the 2012 version of this tablet and it worked on custom roms, is this exynos different in terms of compatibility?

Not being unappreciated, it's just a sincere doubt :)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Why Android 11 GO version? According to the Android 11 Go Edition Device Setup Guide, starting with Android 11 all smartphones with 1GB or 2GB of RAM must use Android Go.
Although this tablet has 3 GB of ram memory, this tablet has a technology of 8 years ago, I believe that the Android GO version can run in a responsive way with minimal lag.
In addition, some tweaks were applied to improve the overall performance for this old device.

*This rom is also compatible with SM-P601 but without 3G data network support and Phone.

Working:
> SD-card
> GPS
> S Pen
> WIFI
> Bluetooth
> Sensors
> Audio
> Screen Record
> Camera (just picture)
> IR Sensor
> MTP
> Microphone

Not Working:
> Camera (Video)

*For now there are crashes in certain apps and in certain situations. The rom is only recommended for testing and not for daily use. As the solutions are discovered , they will be applied in future builds .

How to install this ROM:
1. Install TWRP Recovery : twrp-3.5.0_9-0-lt03wifiue
From: https://dl.twrp.me/lt03wifiue/twrp-3.5.0_9-0-lt03wifiue.img.html

2. Wipe Cache, Data and System Partition

3. Install the ROM and Gapps.
I recommend the gapps from https://opengapps.org
ARM/11.0/PICO

4. Reboot

How to update this ROM?
1. Go to TWRP Recovery.

2. Install the Rom and Wipe Cache and Dalvik.

3. Reboot.

Hello daniel,

I installed v1.1 of this room yesterday and my device animation is really bad, my device is sm-p601 and i only used this device for entertainment such as youtube and games specially fgo this this rom can’t run it like the stock rom of my device.

I tried LOS 17.1 for sm-p600 and it worked perfectly and butter smooth, fgo can load and play smoothly with some crash and there is no data/3g with 17.1.

Just want to tell my opinion about this rom and i am happy because someone develop rom for old device like note 2014 so i can still used it in 2023😁

After I installed this ROM I could no longer boot into TWRP. I had to use Odin to install TWRP again. Could it be that I used a wrong version of Odin?
No, Odin must have flashed it, because you were able flash a custom ROM and you must have used TWRP for that.

After flashing the ROM which recovery was it?
Perhaps there was an option to install Lineage recovery, which you didn't avoid?

Ok, for those who want working SafetyNet and Play Store certification (for Netflix and Disney+), follow these steps (I am using Magisk 24.1 for reference, this will also work on Magisk 24.2 & 24.3):

    1. Install Rom, Gapps, and Magisk in twrp, exactly in this order.

    2. Open Magisk, make sure it says its installed. Go to the settings, enable Zygisk and DenyList. (Note: DO NOT login into your Google Account yet, we need the Play Store to get certified first)

    3. Download these 2 modules: Universal SafetyNet Fix & MagiskProps Hide Config. You'll also need to download an app called YASNAC in order to check the SafetyNet Status, and TermUX for the terminal app.

    4. Install the modules and reboot. Install YASNAC and Termux. Open YASNAC, and run the SafetyNet check. You should get the Pass result.

    5. Open Termux. Type in su. Grant Magisk root access. Type in props and hit enter.

    6. When the MagiskProps menu comes up, type 1. Then type f. A list of device manufacturers will show up. Look for Samsung and type in that number. Then a list of certified devices will come up. Look for our device (SM-P600) and type in the number that matches our device. It will ask if you want to set this as the device fingerprint. Type y. When the process is complete, type y again to reboot.

    7. Upon reboot, open the Play Store. Go to Settings, scroll down to Play Store version. It should say below that "Device is certified". You should now login into your Google account and verify this by installing either Netflix or Disney+.

(If you don't see the device certification section yet, wait about 5-10 minutes. If it still says "Device is not certified", clear cache and app data from the Play Store. Also make sure you have the latest version of the Play Store and Google Play services. You can find those here:

    Google Play Store APKs
Google Play services APKs (The variant for our device is 150300, 150306, 170300 or 170306: arm-v7a, Android 11+, 320 dpi)

When finished, the results should look like this:

    Definitely down to test!
Sure interested to test. I've not noticed crashes on 1.1 but am only using in short bursts.

I think my magisk problems are due to having installed v23 through twrp when I installed the rom, then updating the app to v24 without updating the flashed package. If installing a new rom, I'll make sure to flash v24.
Experimental build, some changes were made to the kernel and added support for navbar (for now the 3 keys are not being disabled). But the crash problem is still not solved 100%. Please let me know if this build got worse or better with application usage.

Just installed this new build with a fresh copy of OpenGapps and Magisk 24. So far so good. Although, when you turn on the on screen nav buttons, the hardware keys aren’t fully disabled. You can still tap on the Menu and Back keys and they work, even with the on screen nav buttons turned on. Other than that, rom seems to be smooth so far. Working on getting the SafetyNet to pass now that Magisk 24 doesn’t have MagiskHide anymore.

Also, don’t know if this feature is removed from Go roms, but Chat Bubbles don’t show up when I use apps like Telegram. Definitely seen this feature in other LOS 18 roms.
Yes, GO edition removes overlays so no multi window or any overlay function. I wish there were two builds GO and regular because I use multi window.
