I'm using ExKernel manager with LOS 18.1. But the settings are very individual and they are selected experimentally based on the user's needs.
After a lot of messing around, I decided to go back to LOS 17.1... Except for GPS Spoofing reacting a bit sluggish, everything works!
Since that one is not being updated anymore, I may try at a later stage to get back to LOS 18.1, but I'll see... Battery life is a drama, with plenty spontaneous reboots when not on charger (usually camera-related apps like scanning a QR-code, VR in PoGo, taking pics, but can't seem to pin that one down yet aside for blaming it on the battery (health status according to system: Good), but that's another story...
Hey all hope everyone is doing well. I have been using this ROM for about a month now. The rom is great but I have been seeing one issue and wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Again I am on lineage-18.1-20210714-UNOFFICIAL-ocn
My carrier as this maybe important is T-mobile US.
This is not a complaint so please don't view it as such. Phone calls and SMS have been really inconsistent. I get messages where it will either say not connected or SMS messages will just continue spinning. I sometimes get airplane mode message and it almost becomes like a game where I am either trying to switch wi-fi networks or change mobile networks so that I can get calls or sms messages out. Not sure if its something with my settings. If it's because I'm on T-mobile US or if its something others are experiencing. I don't want to reflash to either stock or other rom but I also use this phone for work and reflashing means having to redo a lot of MFA stuff. So before I made a decision on that I wanted to reach out here and see what people had to say.
My questions are I guess
Has anyone else seen this?
Does this have to do with me being on T-Mobile US?
Or is this due to something in my settings or is there a set of pre-defined values I should stick with?
Also lastly what is the VOLTE that seems to be greyed out in my settings. I am guessing its short for Voice Over LTE.

I'm surely interested. Thank you for taking the time and effort. Many HTC lovers, who regret what has happened to this company, are still loyal to the legacy, despite the challenges. Try making full backup in TWRP and clearing cache and data for SystemUI app in Settings.

Can only clear cache for SystemUI app because data is greyed out. Clearing cache didn't resolve FC.
In fact, I can see that there are almost no interest in my builds for LOS 17.1 and LOS 18.1. Therefore, I am already deeply thinking to stop releasing public builds and leave only private for myself and willing users (FOC).
@Golv I am not regulary checking this forum but every month I am checking your uploads for a new version and do install it. Please keep on publishing your updated versions. Thanks a lot for all the effort you did put into those releases in the past.
I second this. I started using HTC phones with Desire Z and had it till it died 6 years later, thanks to awesome developers like you @Golv who release updated software for our dated phones, keeping them (mostly) on-par with newer devices.
The first U11 I got from my SO, when she bought a Huawei P30 (she has regrets now
).I unlocked the bootloader and installed your LOS17 on it the same day. About a year and a half ago I cracked its screen... completely.
The next day, I bought a new U11 (the last one they had in stock!). It had by far the best price/performance ratio of available phones, especially considering the fantastic unofficial updates available for it
So yeah, no pressure, I completely get that you have a life and I am assuming you are not going to buy yourself a brand new Rolls-Royce by releasing LOS builds here... but do not think that there is no interest

My device was running on the original software until a camera update arrived, after which the camera doesn't work at all, only the front camera works by downloading a third party software, but the back camera doesn't work at all. Known Issues:
- On dual SIM devices, a SIM cannot be re-enabled once it has been disabled

- Wi-Fi calling - ??? (checked it for mcc="310" mnc="260" only, but I cant check it for me. My carrier supports Volte only for our device and VOLTE works fine for me)

Important: If you have any issues with rom (unresponsive buttons, cannot unlock with fingerprint, etc.) try to wipe delvik/cache in TWRP.
Instructions:
Take FULL backup first from your actual system!
Before instaling, make sure you are running the latest Oreo or Pie firmware from the latest HTC Sense.
If you are encrypted, take a full backup of all your data, boot into TWRP and format data (the option which requires you to type "yes") and clean flash accordingly. This is due to encryption changes. Do not skip this step or you will be locked out of your system by a password prompt.
- Download the latest updated TWRP recovery 3.3.1-1 ( thanks @Captain_Throwback ) or 3.4.0-0
- Reboot to download mode and flash it: "fastboot flash recovery name_of_file.img"
- Download the latest ROM zip from the downloads section below
- Wipe /system, /cache and /data (complete FORMAT /data if you're having issues or were encrypted)
- Flash ROM zip in TWRP, reboot to system and make initial settings (don't enable option Lineage recovery during first setup after clean install, otherwise you will lose TWRP and you need to reinstall it again)
- Flash the latest magisk (optional) after make one reboot
- When system is booted, reboot to TWRP and flash gapps (optional)
- Reboot and check apps permissions (!!!) (Google Play Service, all Google apps and services, Phone, Phone services, Camera, Contacts, Message, etc...)
- Enjoy (as much as currently possible)
