[ROM][11.0][MIATOLL] PixelExperience [AOSP]

Very good ROM, stable and everything is working.

One note tho to all having problems with reboots or random locks. I've had the same but found out solution.

Before doing clean flash I recommend disabling encryption/pin/fingerprints in your previous OS. DON'T FLASH MAGISK YET. Then after you perform clean flash as described in instruction - reboot straight to system, do the initial config - but DON'T ENABLE ENCRYPTION/PIN just yet.

Let it update/configure itself, wait for like 10 mins, browse some internet, perform soft reboot and unlock. Launch Play Store, install something, close it. Then plug in your charger and let it sit for 30-60mins. This way you will yet your Google Play store and Google Play Services updated to newest version while staying as Certified.

Next download Universal SafetyNet Fix, Magisk manager, then go Airplane mode, reboot to recovery and flash Magisk, don't wipe any caches, soft reboot to system. After launching install Magisk manager, enable MagiskHide, install Universal SafetyNet Fix, soft reboot, disable Airplane mode, check for SafetyNet and you're good to go.

Only this way it works amazing. Everything is super smooth, battery life is great, no issues whatsoever. If I rushed Magisk and encrypted memory at first boot tho, then it had issues. After doing steps above you can encrypt it ofc and SafetyNet is passed.

Thanks for this amazing ROM!
what's soft reboot?

Is anyone else having this problem? It won't go away, it's spamming me.

Long press power-button and select Reboot while booted in Android - you can set an option for booting to Recovery/Bootlader in system options in this ROM.
While in recovery select Power-off --> Reboot or just Reboot. That's soft reboot.

About that UI not responding @0kanenas0 - read my previous comment about how I did it. Using this ROM for 3 weeks already, no problems whatsoever but you gotta be careful on first boot and let it settle.

Edit: one more thing - after a while I noticed that Google Play reverts to old version, and sometimes updates randomly to the newest. After you do what I did in my previous comment - I recommend to install newest opengapps. Don't worry about it being only nano/pico versions (I've used nano) because it doesn't delete things like Android Auto etc but after you install it, you're on the newest Google Play and Services all the time.

Amazing ROM. The best out there. CatLog is super clean, battery life is amazing, no issues reported. Keeping this as daily.

I followed your steps as close as I could though.

Should I try this and see what happens?

Tbh this is an issue with your firmware, not the ROM itself or the way it's installed. Are you on newest firmware?

I suggest you doing clean flash with MiFlash with Fastboot version of newest firmware available from:
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/

Make sure you select to wipe and flash, don't lock your bootloader by accident in meanwhile.

If you're on newest firmware then I idk what's the issue. Which variant you're on? I'm on Joyeuese and V12.5.1.0.RJZEUXM firmware flashed by MiFlash, then OrangeFox recovery and all of the steps mentioned in previous comments.

Yes as of now, I'm on V12.5.1.0.RJZEUXM and flashed it through recovery as mention in Flash Instructions.

I also did flash pico gapps and disabled Riru, MagiskHide Props Config and Universal SafetyNet Fix after your reply. So far I haven't seen System UI crash on me, and I have a suspicion that one of those modules is the cause. I need more time to be sure though, it's only been about an hour since I made these changes.

MagiskHide Props Config tbh. Why you need that anyway?

I recently noticed that the ROM is having sound problems when starting Navigation on Google Maps. Sound cuts off and comes back every two seconds until you force quit Maps and then restart the phone. Seems like it's system wide too, because I hear the navigation voice getting cut off as well as everything else playing on the phone.

I tried using Waze and the problem went away. Haven't tried anything else though.
