Fluid is an aftermarket Android custom ROM distribution based on AOSP, focused on bringing a better UI/UX to Android with a fluid experience coupled with themes and customisations.

Fluid doesn't aim at providing all the customisation available on the planet. We are focused on a cleaner, more Material design approach, with a few twists ;) that assured, we do have a dedicated theme engine with cool stuff getting added every new update. So sit back and enjoy Fluid on your device!

Code:
- Adaptive Playback
- Included GApps
- Double tap power button for Camera
- FOD Animation
- Redesigned Themes page
- Statusbar/QS/Lockscreen Customisation
- Some other goodies :D
Several system themes, icon shapes and fonts to choose from

And most importantly:
- A redefined UI

RIL not working for me for incoming
I'm not receiving any calls or texts although I appear to be able to make them.
When I make a call it rings and can be answered but nothing comes up on the screen.
Probably more bugs but completely unusable for me as being unable to receive texts means half the stuff I have doesn't work (dual factor authentication).

Great start though and feels fast and "fluid" for being out so early.

NFC does, idk about GPay, not old enough to use it

When you have a bank account, you can have PayPal, if you have PayPal you can use GPay.

Of course you "should" be 18, but who cares? I'm 16 and I'm using GPay for ca. 1 year now. I don't have any cash with me anymore, it's amazing!

True, I could technically use it, but I just don't need it atm because I barely buy anything lmao

Well actually even if that were the case... My two factor text didn't even come through for Google sign in during setup. So definitely something up.
I had to text my wife's phone to sign in.

I have created a small but probably helpful app for everyone using an AOSP custom rom on their Xiaomi Mi9. Currently, it allows you to easily change the action that happens when you press your AI button on the left side of the phone! More features may be added at a later point.
It requires root, but that's needed as it modifies a system file (to be exact it's /system/usr/keylayout/gpio-keys.kl

    Hello everybody,
first of all the obligatory - thank you very much for this ROM and all the effort that comes with it.
I have installed it one my everyday device and am very happy with it.

Unfortunately I have some troubles installing Magisk on it as I get a bootloop (MI-Logo) which I am not able to resolve.
I followed the instructions from Post#1 (including a complete format of my device beforehand).
    The following software was used:
    1. I upgraded my TWRP to "twrp-3.4.0-1-cepheus"
    2. cepheus_12.0.1.0_eea_firmware
    3. Fluid-1.0-Rum-OFFICIAL-cepheus-20201110-gapped
    4. Magisk-v20.4
Before installing Magisk I did the reboot and everything was working as inteded. After installing Magisk I am stuck at the bootloop (MI-Logo)

I hope you guys can help me in this matter.

Thank you very much in advance
    ------------------------
EDIT: Just saw the Link to the modified Magisk-Version in Post#2
--> It installed and booted sucessfully, but if I open the magisk-manager it immediatly closes again :(
I think I remember you have to disable data and wifi, open magisk manager and change update channel to stable or beta. Then enable data and wifi and it should work.
