Wanna experience Fluid on your phone? Go ahead fam!

- Download the ROM (Gapps included)
- Backup every partition from OrangeFox Recovery
- Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik)
- Flash Latest FW (R India for Curtana, Q latest for Rest)
- Flash the FluidOS zip
- Flash Magisk (Optional and don't forget to enable Magisk hide of so After Boot)
- Wipe cache!
- And at last Reboot!
[First boot will take a few minutes! Have patience]
Clean Flash is always recommended!

The instructions could really use an update IMHO.

- Now there are two version, one with GApps and one without, and you can download (Nik)Gapps from here.
- You can get OrangeFox recovery from here, but you need to flash TWRP first (check this guide).
- If you're coming from a different rom, a full wipe may not be enough. I had to Format Data (encrypted) as well .
- Latest firmware (Curtana) can be downloaded from here.

Nice ROM, installed yesterday and everything seems to be working well. Only issue I have is the "quick torch" gesture does not seem to be working. The phone will vibrate as if acknowledging the action but the flashlight does not come on. Tried to reboot and wipe caches but no change. Manually toggling the flashlight from the drop down menu works fine as does the camera flash. This is a clean install of the latest gapped version (20210304) and latest global firmware (V12.0.1.0.RJWMIXM). Logcat shows "setTorchMode: camera id is invalid", I'll try to attach it. Thanks for the work that has went into this ROM!

I've ran into the same issue several times now. Sometimes when I try to unlock the phone using the fingerprint scanner, I can hear the unlock the sound but the screen remains black and the phone freezes and I have to force reboot it using the power button. It seems to happen randomly and infrequently, so I can't pinpoint what could be the cause.

PS: I'm using Fluid 1.3 on curtana and my phone is NOT rooted.

Hope this update fixes the heating issue. I am on March 3rd version. My phone is getting incredibly hot when charging with the stock charger,had to use the slow charging brick. OS is also quite unstable, sometimes lags when browsing on chrome and other times it's just freezes for no reason.

I never used the original charger so I don't know about the heating issue. I did experience the random feezing from time to time but I don't know the issue.

I don't recommend it, I tried that and it wasn't very stable even after flashing GAPPs manually and I had to re-flash the gapped version again in the end.
