I know Miatoll consists of Curtana, Joyeuse, Excalibur and Gram, but who wants a nasty brick?! Can someone assure me that I can flash it on my Redmi Note 9 Pro India, codename Curtana?
I have indian version of curtana.... OS working flawlessly in my device.... apparently the only non buggy A11 OS we have right now.... follow the flashing process as developer advised.....

The deep sleep (needing a reboot) seems to be disappeared with the latest update (the third from March), although I'm still experiencing problems with VoiP calls :(
Anyone the same?
And has anyone had Magisk passing the safety net?

Everything seems fine here. VoIP calls you mean WhatsApp, Signal etc? Magisk safety net fine too.
Yes I do. It has some metallic sound that the receiver hear and on my side the audio is interrupted.
I've obviously done a clean install when I migrate from Xiaomi.eu to Fluid (1.2) and then just updated each month. No idea what could it be. I thought about Viper4Androis but seems to be the same with or without it

Regarding the safety net, that's what I get.
It's Italian but the colour is pretty self explanatory

According to flashing instructions-
- Backup every partition from OrangeFox Recovery
- Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik)

I'm running latest orange fox R11 build for miatoll on my Indian Redmi Note 9 pro, curtana. But It doesn't seem to have an option to wipe system partition. What should I do?
Running MIUI 12.0.4.0, Android 11, Orange Fox Installed.

-format data > yes
- advanced reboot to recovery
- put in drive and mount USB OTG
- flash new firmware if there's a new one
- flash new ROM
- boot to system

So you have tried it personally on Curtana? Is flashing firmware necessary even if I'm on latest MIUI?

No worry for that, every latest Miui version are acceptable without issue.
I was with Miui weekly of december.
What is important is the Modem ( called Radio) release and this is checked at the rom installation, just before writing anything...
With latest phone you can not wipe system partition because of dynamic partition system. forget this wipe, that's better. Rom installation will do it for you...
Format Data is mandatory before rom reboot to system.

Hi @lolo9393 !! Thanks for the information and making things clear to me, a lot!!! I was so worried about wiping system because usually you had to wipe system vendor etc. before flashing a ROM 1-2 years ago. Thanks for telling me about dynamic partition system! 👍

Hi, i might have an issue with this rom, sometime when i use luck patcher, i think the data partition starts to go crazy!

    Is this normally?
Well, i can't say it's normal, but i also can't support all the mods you guys will use, it probably is due to the security in place on data partition on Android 11 by Google, but even if not, i don't endorse custom mods.
    2
this won't be added as these are require xiaomiparts which i do not plan to add

this won't be added as these require xiaomi parts which I do not intend to add.

Ok well thanks for clarifying that the behaviour is intended. But surely waking the screen for notifications is a standard Android behaviour and not specific to Xiaomi code?

Edit: I've found an app called Glimpse Notifications which seems to provide the functionality.

Been testing this for several weeks now. Unfortunately, as good & smooth as it feels, the battery consumption is just through the roof with barely 5h SoT. I'll be reverting to stock and debloat as usual.

    Thanks!
