Ho guys,
I'm very happy with this Rom, overall a great daily.
Magisk works fine.
There are 2 issue for me that I'd like to know if it is possible to solve though.

Phone is Redmi Note 9 Pro (Curtana)

1 - VoIP calls are problematic unless I use headphones (bt or wired doesn't matter). The receiver hears metallic sounds from my part
2 - The stock camera works but I would like to know if there is any alternative camera port you guys are using with success.

This ROM seems very promissing but I have a few questions, does this ROM have a camera app that can use the wide lense and micro lense cameras?

Is this rom discontinued? The option for miatoll series is no longer displayed on the official website.

i have had issue on the 1.5 release of the rom, since i updated anny media that play on my device freeze every 3-4 seconds for a few seconds, it's really frustrating and i had no problem on previous release of the rom, any guess on what might be going on ? also i know i could try a clean install but i am a bit tired of re-installing everything after switching rom so many time, so i would like to avoid doing it if possible.

Bootlooping back into recovery after I flash the ROM (Gappless) + NikGapps Basic. Is there a specific way to flash things?

1- Wipe stuff
2- Flash ROM
3- Reboot to recovery (Or stay) and flash Gapps (Tried both ways)
4- Reboot --> Bootlooping.

If you're having the same issue:

- Flash ROM
- Reboot to recovery
- Reboot to recovery, again
- Flash Gapps
- Flash your stuff
- Format Data
- Wipe Cache
- Voila, Reboot.

I just can't make it works, I erased everything, flashed stock ROM (v11 for Joyeuse), removed all passwords and locks, flashed the 1.6 ROM with pitchblack, cleared cache and then, after reboot, It appearse a display with 4 blue dots, it reset again and it send me to the recovery mode. Did I miss something?

Battery performance is very bad.
4-5 hours of screen time. :)
The battery drain even when not in use phone.
Similar issues here I'm afraid. Quick Torch gesture also seems to be broken too which is essential for me. Back to PixysOS for now, hopefully this ROM continues to mature and is a more viable daily driver in the future.

I don't have any problems so far. I'm on Joyeuse and it seems the battery performance is average or pretty similar to the stock ROM. I even dare to say that is kinda better than having the stock ROM. Sometimes I forget to connect the phone to the charger at night but I noticed that the battery doesn't drop any single percentage of it's energy. Maybe I don't have problems because I made a fresh and clean flashing.

I only see battery draining everytime I play, but at the same time, the games seems to run smooth as butter, reason why sometimes the phone gets hot. In my case I'm an active player of Genshin Impact and I can say that with this ROM it runs so much better than with the stock ROM. Without any lags, even with better graphics configuration.

On the other hand, the launcher sucks so bad. Sorry, is too stock for me and it lacks of good options. So I decided to install Nova Launcer 7 and OMG, is beautiful!!

I discovered that, unlike Stock ROM, you can mount System folder as R/W, so you can make mods directly on the ROM without the need of Magisk modules (Knowledge needed before modding the system partition permanently to avoid issues or softbricking).

I hate the Google Sans font used in this ROM, it looks awful mixed with Roboto. Sorry but I need to say it.

Well, I can say that this ROM is one of the best ROMS I tried so far. You can activate call recording via magisk module, record audio with ASR app and video with SCR app (much better than MIUI ones), I missed a good camera app but trCamera makes a very good job with 4k recording and 60fps 1080p support for video and 16mp camera, portrait and macro support for photos. It doesn't have all the functions but it works very well. I tried ANX cámera but I could never make it work.

For music player and equalizer I recommend Poweamp, since Viper4Android can be better, is kinda complex to setup and I'm a little lazy in fact. With Link2SD you can remove the apps you don't like, and even unfreeze a terminal app it has hidden.

For call recording I follow this tutorial from here and it works flawlessly:

Even Huawei health works awesome with this ROM, without disconnecting my Huawei Band 6 from the phone every time I connect my headphones as well as It happened to me with MIUI Stock ROM.

Features I miss? Floating windows, Game Turbo (because you can use other apps over your game), and the stock camera app... did I miss another thing?? I guess not, I love Xiaomi but I hate the fact that is full of bloatware.

Hi, i might have an issue with this rom, sometime when i use luck patcher, i think the data partition starts to go crazy!

    Is this normally?
Well, i can't say it's normal, but i also can't support all the mods you guys will use, it probably is due to the security in place on data partition on Android 11 by Google, but even if not, i don't endorse custom mods.
this won't be added as these are require xiaomiparts which i do not plan to add

this won't be added as these require xiaomi parts which I do not intend to add.

Ok well thanks for clarifying that the behaviour is intended. But surely waking the screen for notifications is a standard Android behaviour and not specific to Xiaomi code?

Edit: I've found an app called Glimpse Notifications which seems to provide the functionality.
Been testing this for several weeks now. Unfortunately, as good & smooth as it feels, the battery consumption is just through the roof with barely 5h SoT. I'll be reverting to stock and debloat as usual.
