I'm still on 1.3 but I know if I have Pocket Detection enabled under Fluid Customisations then I get quite a bit of battery drain. Not sure if it will help on 1.6 but might be worth a shot to disable that option if you have it on for those with battery drain.
I have been using the 1.2 version for quite some time now. But lately I have noticed a huge hit on my dataplan, which is being eaten by "System updates" and once or twice a popup about "dynamic system update" (which after opening shows a dull busy indicator going on forever...). It seems no update can be done and a new try is carried out... disabling mobile data for this specific "app" is impossible (no switches show up on this item), so I have been disabling mobile data alltogether, which is far from ideal.
Does anyone know how to stop this nonsense? Or is it time to flash another rom?

You can use AdGuard to disable internet access on either Mobile and/or Wifi for 'System Updates'.

Well, i can't say it's normal, but i also can't support all the mods you guys will use, it probably is due to the security in place on data partition on Android 11 by Google, but even if not, i don't endorse custom mods.2
Ok well thanks for clarifying that the behaviour is intended. But surely waking the screen for notifications is a standard Android behaviour and not specific to Xiaomi code?
Edit: I've found an app called Glimpse Notifications which seems to provide the functionality.2
