Actually I'd suggest so. Simply because your problem is not a general one, for most others SELinux is 'enforcing'. Since I can't know your flashing history usually I'd start with a stock Miui ROM, if any possible Fastboot ROM should be preferred over Recovery ROM. And only then flash crDroid.

had the same issue for a while. coincidentally or not, I had disabled matlog. the option to copy the log url just became functional after I restored it.

If you have problems configuring your fingerprint, do not do it in the initial settings of the ROM (when you just install it), do it later from Settings > Security, after having set the dark theme and selected the green color of the sensor light.

Since I have done that, I have never had problems configuring my fingerprints again, I've even done it at night, so you don't need to set the brightness to maximum. In addition, in the last update I have noticed how the unlock speed improved a lot.

Hey did you change the launcher? Yours looks a bit different than the default one which i found to be a bit anaesthetic compared to the stock launcher. There is a huge gap between the icons and the dock is way pushed down to the google search bar.

Yes, I installed the stock version of NikGApps, which includes the Pixel Launcher and the GBoard. I prefer those over the stock ones.

Okay, but i don't think that's the reason why! I also flashed basic nikk gapps and this rom has already pixel launcher just with some tweaks added. Any suggestions?? Can i re-flash the stock gapps again? Instead of the already existing ones?

Is there a way to install Google's setup wizard. I understand it would be part of a bigger NigGapps package than can't be installed (as of now), but since only Core works, I wonder if I could install the SetupWizard independently.

Anyone managed to resolve this? There is no way to migrate to this image otherwise...

I don't get the problem. Just flash NikGapps SetupWizard before booting into ROM.

Hello everybody,

unfortunately all my efforts in tryin to flash latest crDroid release end up in my phone being stuck at colour-changing crDroid boot logo...

Heres my setup and how I tried flashing:

1.) Already had an unlocked bootloader and TWRP on my phone
2.) Upgraded TWRP to twrp-3.4.0-10-cepheus-mauronofrio
3.) Came from unofficial lineage-16.0-cepheus
4.) Cleanly flashed latest xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9_V12.5.4.0.RFACNXM_v12-11

...until this step everything worked fine...went through setup wizzard and all is good...but I wanted to have crDroid...so I went on...

5.) Rebooted into recovery:
wiped system, vendor, data, dalvik/chache
formatted data
6.) Again rebooted into recovery (not having booted the os in between)
7.) flashed crDroidAndroid-11.0-20210808-cepheus-v7.9 (tried either by sideloading or 'adb push'-ing to device and installing zip from twrp...makes no difference)
8.) staying in TWRP I directly flashed open_gapps-arm64-11.0-pico-20210825.zip
9.) again staying in TWRP I directly flashed Magisk-v23.0.zip
10.) thats the major steps that I performed more than a dozen times now
11.) due to possible problems with encryption...I also tried flashing Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip in all permutations of switches herafter

So can anybody please point me in the right direction or give a hint about what's going wrong here.

PS: Probably anybody can also clarify when or if at all switching off dm-verity and turning off encryption has to be done - as from a security perspective I would like to keep both, if possible.

I'd say it's because of the twrp, try this one..

Two suggestions. Start from a stock ROM not from any EU-whatsoever ROM. I'd recommend the current Fastboot-ROM rather than a Recovery-ROM.
Secondly take the official TWRP, currently it's 3.5.2_9-0.

No idea though for Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip, never used that one.
