You actually don't need to flash DFE, it was merely for keeping TWRP working (though some roms actually failed to boot without it), but latest TWRP can decrypt A11. Actually I would say you shouldn't flash DFE as it will disable encryption, which is bad for security (e.g. if you lose your phone or it is stolen).Ok thanks. If i want encryption??
Why with crdroid 6.10 work without flash DFE?
These are some simple steps:
1. Backup all your data for your computer (everything you have will be deleted when you format /data)
2. Flash latest TWRP (either via fastboot or your current TWRP)
3. Boot to TWRP and wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
4. Format data
5. Reboot to TWRP
6. Transfer the rom, gapps and firmware zips to your phone
7. Flash the firmware first, then the rom
8. Reboot to TWRP
9. Flash gapps
10. Reboot to the rom.
If you go back to TWRP (the rom refuses to boot), wipe cache, dalvik and data and format data again, it has happened to me sometimes and it worked.
For root, I didn't test on this rom, but the latest official Magisk cannary (d0896984 (21102)) worked flawlessly for other A11 rom for the cepheus. I would try that instead of flashing this modded zip nobody seems to know where it came from (neither have the source code).
