Well, as I suspected.. Google play services are draining my battery like crazy.

I'd start with deleting all data for Play Services, means memory and cache.

Well, as I suspected.. Google play services are draining my battery like crazy.. I've been using the two apps you recommended, but I don't really know how to fight this. Super weird because battery life was great until a week ago or so.. maybe I'll try to do another clean install, let's see if something gets better..

I also had the problem with Google Play Services draining battery as hell, the logs assumed that the updater constantly was checking for updates, after I updated to the last version, the drain was gone, so I assume that the battery drain starts as soon as a new update is released, but hasn't been installed.

Same for me but never had an idea what it is causing. Was just flashing the new crDroid version with new gapps and it was gone.
Now I will just flash the gapps again when there is no new crDroid version. An normal update via playstore doesn't solve it for me. Deleting the cache stops it but only until next reboot.

Sorry for the noob question -but I tried to figure out, if DFE is mandatory for a clean install... unfortunately without coming to an end.
So -when do I need to flash DFE?!?

crDroid is based on Android 11, hence no headaches with DFE since encryption still works flawlessly with TWRP. Simply forget about DFE in crDroid 7.x.

Hi.
After update Bluetooth is constantly crashing (before update It happened too but very rarely). I don't know what is the reason for this. I have Samsung Galaxy Watch Active connected to my Mi 9 and It keeps disconnecting. Crash logs below (I see every crash log is the same):

Maybe I should try new crDroid v8 . Is there any recovery which can decrypt Android 12 data partition yet (I prefer to stay encrypted)?

I´ve been using crDroid 7.17 a few days now, my Mi9 works like a charm and I had no issues so far (concerning bluetooth and so on). THX for the great work!!!

The only thing, which is a bit annoying to me:
I have two SIMs installed, SIM1 is for everyday use, SIM2 just for sporadic use. On crDroid, everytime I boot my phone, both SIMs need to get enabled. So if I just want to use SIM1, I have to enter the PIN for SIM2 as well and disable it manually after the startup.
On xiaomi.eu ROM, the last config was stored – so if just one SIM was enabled, I had to enter the pin for this one at next boot, if both were enabled, i had to enter both pins at next startup...

Any ideas how I could use only SIM1 as default and enabling SIM2 manually if needed?

All good! I had to navigate a few times between the fixed three keys nav bar and the gestures. Now everything runs as it should.

Compared to all the A12 roms this one feels like it runs the best. And by far no such strong battery drain as with the A12 roms.

If now the AAWireless adapter works better i'm happy!

Feeling the same. But we need to be prepared that crDroid's support for A11 / crDroid 7.x soon will come to an end.
