Check for the usual suspects, i. e. Pocket Detection. AOD etc.
In general this drain is not usual for cdDroid, e. g. in my case Deep Sleep is around 90 % in BetterBatteryStats. Battery easily lasts for 2 days at 6 h activity.

Thanks Toscha, tried my öuck with AOD settings. But after your nessage I deactivated pocket detection and that did the trick! Now my CPU goes into deep sleep and does not stay on lowest frequency.

In the very first post on the first page, it has mentioned that after wipe system, reboot to recovery.

• Wipe system, data, dalvik, cache
• Format data
• Reboot recovery

I have earlier tried with some other ROM and found that after wipe the system you can not boot into recovery. For recovery, you must have system data. Kindly post the correct steps and those steps which worked actually.

You shouldn't wipe system when coming from stock ROM. Else, It's alright to wipe if coming from another custom rom or anything other than stock.

Okey. I just came to know about this piece of info and would like to request to OP to edit accordingly. Currently, I am on MIUI 12.0.4 and if I wish to flash the ROM will you please tell me what tools/ files/ mods I should download and complete flashing steps. Earlier I tried by flashing some ROM and stucked at boot logo or probably it was bootloop or soft bricked, so I just flashed fastboot zip and recovered my phone. It would be great, if you mention the working (not only copy pasted) steps, I shall be thankful to you.

I think this should be included in first post under installation (as optional) for those who want to use the rom without gapps.

After installing the rom I cannot find the folder/systems in twrp file manager... Has anyone a clue to make it visible?

For anyone looking for the same answer. Mount the system folder in TWRP. It is available afterwards in the TWRP file manager.

I think devs are usually busy and telegram is taking over forums, many questions are answered in these groups. Even here though, the community helps you and you dont have to wait for dev to answer your questions.
There is so much information on this forum and believe me your questions have been answered many times before.

After android 8 they added verified boot, thats why if you wipe system you can soft brick your phone, a simple solution when that happens would be to flash vbmeta.img which disables it and you can use twrp again.

Anyway the latest build is very smooth and fast for me, I dont have overnight drain but in general the battery is worse then PE.

Everything you do with your device is under your sole responsibility and you should know what to do. If you don't, feel free to ask here in the forum where other members will help you if they can. Also use the search funtion at first like you were told before.

Repeat the same steps, but don't wipe system if you're coming from stock miui.
