I can't use camera, too. As I didn't use camera nor face unlock, I didn't notice this bug.
I reinstalled v6.8 and open_gapps-arm-10.0-stock-20200714 with clean flash.
Camera(com.google.android.GoogleCamera) works while first set up of face unlock, but doesn't work after compeletion of set up. Other camera apps are work but front camera doesn't work.

hello, i'm using this rom on latest version with nano gapps, and not using any custom kernel or even magisk,

but having random reboot issue,
been using this rom for one week just for social media (eg. whatsapp)
Is it because of a hardware problem (maybe my battery issue) ?

camera and face unlock working flawlessly btw
thank you

No front cam neither and Is it just me or there is a time bug with last ROM ?
My notification time tends to freeze but not in settings and if i lock the screen and reopen it the hour is good !?

The time issue is going to be fixed in the next update. There is no issue with the front camera on my device. I'm using the stock camera app.

My device hasn't once randomly rebooted on me in quite a while. So it's something on your end.

Thank you very good information.
I reinstalled crDroid v6.8 and opengapps nano 20200714 with clean flash.
It's working well face unlock and front camera.
Opengapps stock use com.google.android.GoogleCamera and opengapps nano use lineage os's camera.
I think if I installed opengapps stock, lineage's camera is used while first stage of setting up and it monopolize front camera, but after setting up, lineage os's camera is hidden and google camera is appeared, that is the reason of my issue.

P.S. And after setting up with gapps nano, it is working well to install and to use stock (google) camera app.

Hi,
clean flash v6.8 + opengapps nano fails complaining that there is not enough space.
Is there a way to enlarge system partition?
Of course before installing crDroid I've already repartitioned using TWRP HH but system partition is only 1,5 GB.

Thanks

I resized by hands with parted and gdisk.

I deleted from part26 to part28, and then resized part25 to 3GB.
Finally, I recreated part 26, part27 and part28.

If you are not familiar to linux commands, you should not edit partitions by hands.

P.S. I did above by referring to https://android.stackexchange.com/q...-system-partition-and-decrease-data-partition.

Thanks, I'll try.
This procedure is a bit more detailed:

Which TWRP are you using, standard TWRP or TWRP HH?

The official TWRP isn't aware of any reformatting you did to your device, as it doesn't support those operations. Therefore I would stay on 3.3.1.1 ua hh, in order to avoid any issues.

Just make sure that you revert to the stock partition layout first before flashing this, as z3DD3r's TWRP version uses different partition sizes compared to the UA HH version. After returning to the stock layout you can flash z3DD3r's TWRP and resize again. (see https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81711545&postcount=2)
And be careful to backup your data first as resizing will delete it.

It’s always a great thing when an old device got latest OS.
V6.8 with Criterion Kernel r27 booted and run fine.

Just some minor problems I face.
Auto brightness no available on this rom. I remember other Q rom for nexus5 had it.
And wifi can find only 2.4GHz access points, no 5GHz point showing up. Also wifi speed is very low.

I just can't connect to my secured Wifi point. DECO TP Link Mesh here.
I can find and register on this Wifi but the device remains in "Registered" state and never "Connected".
Same issue from previous ROM. :(

is repartitioning a one time process or has to be done after every new ROM flash.
i flashed the latest version after repartitioning and the ROM is very smooth and in my opinion daily driver material.
i dont use my nexus much though and my analysis might be just on the surface but in my opinion (barring the slow bootanimation discussed multiple times already) this has to be the best Q rom for HH so far.

crDroid is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device also attempting to bringing many of the best features existent today. We're mainly based on LineageOS so use custom kernels compatible with them!

Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!

    TWRP Recovery:

    TWRP Thread

    ROM DOWNLOAD:
    crDroid Website
DOWNLOAD LATEST OFFICIAL BUILD (Android 11)
DOWNLOAD LATEST OFFICIAL BUILD (Android 10)
DOWNLOAD LATEST OFFICIAL BUILD (Android 9 PIE)

    DOWNLOAD GAPPS (PICO Version)

First time installing crDroid to your Nexus 5, or coming from another ROM:

** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Recovery (UA or HH Version)
    1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
    2) Boot into Recovery
    3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
    4) Flash ROM
    5) Flash gapps
    6) Boot up

For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk 21.x (whatever is most recent).

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

    KNOWN ISSUES (Android 11)
    Slow Boot Animation
Screen mirroring via slimport HDMI adapter doesn't work.
    PMF aka 802.11w doesn't work.
    Wi-Fi display doesn't work
    SELinux permissive

Don't expect any support if you:
    - are not running the included kernel
    - have installed any mods such as Xposed!
    - have modified system files

    Thanks to:

    - Google
    - LineageOS
    - SlimRoms
    - AOSPA (Paranoid Android)
    - OmniRom
    - NamelessROM
    - Many others... (if you're feeling upset being out of the thanks list just send a PM )

    For everyone concerned...

With custom ROM's heading towards Q (Android 10) it will take time to figure out all the issues, I will be providing updates for this device until crDroid Android stops development on Pie and moves on towards Android 10.

With news that daily LineageOS builds provided by @z3DD3r will be stopping soon, I will provide updates on the same timeline I normally do, so don't worry. Nexus 5 has 1-2 more updates on Pie at least before crDroid moves on towards Android 10.

Thanks for using crDroid and all the well wishes I get from all of you.

    Regards,
    Frazer.

I'll be taking a month or so break to focus on my post-graduate studies as well as taking some time off to recuperate. I'll be back soon with fresh builds of Android 10 for Nexus 5, so don't worry about me dropping support. Huge shoutout and thanks to @EnesSastim and @z3DD3r for keeping Nexus 5 alive all this time.
