Is it me or does xda seem less busy than it used to be?
I find that many people have moved on from these old devices or maybe I'm that good ;)
Secondly, Although the new XDA forums are good on desktops, their new Android app is let's say "weird" so I think many people don't use it. Thirdly, we have a support group on Telegram! Ask your questions there, you'll get a reply much faster by me or other active members.

I told ya, Viper and all those apps are not updated properly for arm32, you need workarounds to make them work. Good to see you figured that out. :)

Read thru the info on this rom, looks great!
I do have 1 question tho, does this rom have the ability to hold the back button till it kills the current app your using?
Only if you use the old 3 button navigation bar, not the gestures one.

Just so everyone knows the new verison of riru core on magisk manager and lsxposed on magisk manager work with Shamu. I deleted the one I had installed rebooted than installed new one. I didn't understand it at first because you have to select apps inside each module but you don't need to just system framework. I don't know why they have the apps to select.

If anyone figures out how to use pixel launcher and the select text feature from the recents menu let me know. It's almost a perfect android 11 ROM right now but I like that feature and can't get it working on Shamu.

about google camera 3.2: I actually got a black screen after about one week use despite energy saving settings :(. Now trying with version 2.7.008 so far so good.

UPDATE: Gcam 3.2 is OK as long as you disable energy saving on it and NEVER kill it. Reboots are fine. If you kill it, when you next run it you get black screen and need to reinstall (clear cache+data+ reboot does not work)

The GCamGo_GreatnessNS2 works very well. Takes a lot better photos.
I found it here :https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1447/[/URL]
thank you pinakini, there's one thing I don't get of Gcam Go: they say it has HDR but by comparing pictures I can tell 100% it does not work like in standard Gcam.
I installed Gcam 3.2 with max permissions and no battery optimization and it works: one should never kill the app, just let it run. Reboots are ok. I've been using it for a week now and no black screen. As soon as I kill it and re-run it I get the black screen and need to uninstall+reinstall (clear cache+data+reboot does not work).
below is the same shot with the two cameras:

2nd UPDATE: I finally found the problem with gcam 3.2 ... after some time it always changed the icon and stopped working. The new icon was the updated one so I finally figured out what happens: automatic update replaces version 3.2 with 4.2 and so it stops working! End of the story: just install gcam 3.2 and stop automatic updates. Energy saving can stay on and the app can be killed like any other.
Sorry for the long story. Hope this helps, gcam HDR+ is so wonderful :)
cheers

First time installing crDroid to your Nexus 6, or coming from another ROM:

** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Recovery
    1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
    2) Boot into Recovery
    3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
    4) Flash ROM
    5) Flash gapps
    6) Boot up

For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk 21.4 or later. (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED).

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

This is going to be the FINAL build of Pie for Nexus 6.

I'll be taking a month or so break to focus on my post-graduate studies as well as taking some time off to recuperate. I'll be back soon with fresh builds of Android 10 for Nexus 6 depending on the progress made by LineageOS maintainers @Elektroschmock and @npjohnson and thanks to both for keeping Nexus 6 alive.

    - It's STILL a BETA -ish. As far as calls go, I haven't had the problem personally in this update. Been running it for a day. Camera gives a headache sometimes, which can be mitigated by a quick reboot. That's all about that, but your mileage may vary.
    - About GApps, flash nano or below variant, as Pixel Launcher in the micro variant causes some issues with default launcher. This is a GApps issue.
    - Magisk 20.4 solves the issues we've been having with it since some time. Flash 20.4 version and above only.
    - Huge thanks and props to @Elektroschmock and @npjohnson and all other contributors who have helped the Orca in any way, and for LineageOS 17.1!!
