Sad I don't know what Iam doing wrong. Doesn't work for me.
Swipeup from lock screen just opens up pattern unlock. Not doing face unlock thing.

Hello, thanks for the ROM. I've used last Android 9 and now wanted to try this one .
But I can't continue without face unlock. I'm chosing "No thanks" if asked but I can't continue. Do I have use face unlock?

No, you don't. From memory (it's been a while since I last did this) you can set your PIN and then when it comes to the point of setting face unlock you will see a "skip" option.

Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't work.
I'm setting my PIN and then skip face unlock, but it doesn't continue.
I must enter my PIN again, and then face unlock again. I'm choosing "skip" and then it starts from beginning again.

It has always worked fine for me on my Nexus 5 & 6, but I remember the same sort of frustration at the way Google have implemented the setup.
What about biting the bullet, setting up face unlock, getting the device running, and then deleting face data?

There is nothing to fix. It works for me and I guess most people.
Edit: @Lonely_Boz
I owe you an apology. I've just set up my son's Nexus 5 with crDroid 7.7 and I got the same as you - it demanded that I set up face unlock and went round in a circle if I refused. This is actually ok with me as I like face unlock, but if you don't then I agree it's a real pain. I suspect that it's Google, not crDroid.

    crDroid Site
DOWNLOAD LATEST OFFICIAL BUILD (Android 11)
DOWNLOAD LATEST OFFICIAL BUILD (Android 10)
    DOWNLOAD LATEST OFFICIAL BUILD (Pie)

    DOWNLOAD GAPPS

First time installing crDroid to your Nexus 6, or coming from another ROM:

** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Recovery
    1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
    2) Boot into Recovery
    3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
    4) Flash ROM
    5) Flash gapps
    6) Boot up

For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk 21.4 or later. (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED).

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

I'll be back soon with fresh builds of Android 10 for Nexus 6 depending on the progress made by LineageOS maintainers @Elektroschmock and @npjohnson and thanks to both for keeping Nexus 6 alive.

    - It's STILL a BETA -ish. As far as calls go, I haven't had the problem personally in this update. Been running it for a day. Camera gives a headache sometimes, which can be mitigated by a quick reboot. That's all about that, but your mileage may vary.
    - About GApps, flash nano or below variant, as Pixel Launcher in the micro variant causes some issues with default launcher. This is a GApps issue.
    - Magisk 20.4 solves the issues we've been having with it since some time. Flash 20.4 version and above only.
    - Huge thanks and props to @Elektroschmock and @npjohnson and all other contributors who have helped the Orca in any way, and for LineageOS 17.1!!
