Again thanks a lot for your great work ...
I just want to share few bugs :
Got a lot of camera FCs ! In panoramic mode it is always crashin before saving images !
Is it possible to have 16:9 8mp back ?
Also the network meter constantly moves from the status bar to the quick one with not hide option activated.
At last there seems to be a random graphic bug !?

Hello!
For some reason i can't get my geolocation in any apps (google maps, taxi apps, others). Geolocation is turned on, access to location and network are granted for apps. Is there anything i can do to fix that or find the soruce of problem?

I started the recording in MatLog, then i opened 2GIs application, tried a few times to get my geolocation, paused the recording and exported the log.

Thank you!

Thanks for the update. Google photos now work with unlimited storage. But there is a bug in hotspot, it won't turn on. Or may be only in my device. Can't say for sure.

Is there any easy way to bypass the 'setup' after a new flash?

I get to the bit where it asks for security, face scan + whatever option. Face scan just keeps failing?

If i press no thanks to the face scan, it boots me back to the previous scree 'Google Services'

Edit: Nevermind, seems to have sorted itself!

Has anyone seen any problems with the lock screen. I was running the Android 10 version for a while (working great) and went ahead and dirty flashed the current version and gapps which seemed to work as expected. Full reboot, notifications up and running. Seems to be good.

But going to unlock the phone, the screen just goes black for a few seconds, then shows a lock a the top of the screen and then goes back to the locked screen. I have dirty flashed a number of roms before on devices so I know it's not always perfect, but this was a new one for me.

Any thoughts before I clean flash? I've already gone back in and cache cleared again just in case. Thanks.


EDIT: I was unable to ever do anything with it or even roll back to 6.13, so I ended up having to clean flash to make it work in the end.

Is it possible to change Pixel 3 to 5 for unlimited storage in Google Photo ?
Unlimited will be finished in feb 2022.

    First time installing crDroid to your Nexus 5, or coming from another ROM:

    ** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Recovery (UA or HH Version)
    1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
    2) Boot into Recovery
    3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
    4) Flash ROM
    5) Flash gapps
    6) Boot up

    For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk 21.x (whatever is most recent).

    Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
    The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

    Slow Boot Animation
    Screen mirroring via slimport HDMI adapter doesn't work.
    PMF aka 802.11w doesn't work.
    Wi-Fi display doesn't work
    SELinux permissive

    For everyone concerned...

    With custom ROM's heading towards Q (Android 10) it will take time to figure out all the issues, I will be providing updates for this device until crDroid Android stops development on Pie and moves on towards Android 10.

    With news that daily LineageOS builds provided by @z3DD3r will be stopping soon, I will provide updates on the same timeline I normally do, so don't worry. Nexus 5 has 1-2 more updates on Pie at least before crDroid moves on towards Android 10.
