@INTRODRUCTOR could you please pm me on telegram? It's the same username as here. It could be helpful to know how you changed the device code to successfully build DotOS. Because I want to try to build Dirty Unicorns. I'm interested in how that works and want to learn this.

You can flash it normally, I'm not sure if you need Android 11 firmware. But I think the firmware from miui 12 should fit
Thank you. But they say A11 Firmware is still buggy.

Anyway, EU 12 Stable ROM is very good in Battery and is quite smooth, with almost no bugs at all. So OrangeFox will allow EU OTA Stable Updates, right? (I see that in the Settings Menu) This is my first time to use EU Stable ROM. I have always used AOSP ROMS before. I have tried EU Weekly ROMs, but with bugs.

Yes MIUI Android 11 is still in development but AOSP based Android 11 custom ROMs are almost stable (in my opinion). OTAs are as far as I know built into an EU updater app. If you use the stock MIUI Firmware then it's built into the settings app. I'm using only AOSP ROMs because the telephony volume is too low and nothing helped. With AOSP, the phone volume is significantly higher.

Thank you. I am planning to root my EU Stable ROM to install Viper4Android.

Do you notice that AOSP ROM offers greater smoothness and performance and battery than UE ROMs?

My Battery life is with DotOS great. Now with 56% it lasts until 6 am tomorrow and now in germany it's 3.30 pm. But I had those great batterylife with other AOSP based ROMs too. If you want something special as for UI design then choose DotOS. You will have good batterylife with any stable ROM. I don't know how unstable ROMs impact battery life. I can really recommend DotOS. The design is much better than a normal AOSP in my opinion. I really like that design

    Hello, I want to install the latest version of this ROM (5.0.1) on my RN8 Global, I would like you to please help me with some questions before doing so:

    which GApps should I use?

    Would the default Google play indicate that the device Is it certified or which GApps should I use to make it so, without having to use magisk?

    What is the latest recommended firmware, the global stable (A10) or the weekly Chinese (A11) or the stable Chinese (A11)?

    Last, what is the order of the steps to do a correct clean installation of this ROM?

    Thank you very much in advance
    FlamesGapps;
    not tested, don't care, but certified with magisk;
    latest a11 Chinese weekly.

    My flashing routine:
    Wipe data, system, vendor, cache, dalvik;
    Erase Data, reboot recovery;
    Flash firmware, ROM, Gapps, DFE (optional for disabling encryption);
    Reboot once to system and either start setting up droid
    Or (optional)
    Reboot to recovery (I'm using latest official twrp) and flash magisk, reboot system and start setting up.

    Cheers

    I'm passing safetynet successfully with a magisk canary build.

    Tried this ROM and I like how they managed to simulate MIUI 12 UI yet I didn't like that there is not option to invert navbar nor to whitelist some apps from dark mode nor sunlightmode.
    As it's the first release of these rom so I'd suggest you to wait for features

    Hello. Has anyone been using the latest Stable Build of MIUI MIX? They say it is based on EU ROM but is more optimized and has better battery. I am on current stable EU 12 Stable ROM. Is MIUI MIX better?
