Hello, I want to install the latest version of this ROM (5.0.1) on my RN8 Global, I would like you to please help me with some questions before doing so:

which GApps should I use?

Would the default Google play indicate that the device Is it certified or which GApps should I use to make it so, without having to use magisk?

What is the latest recommended firmware, the global stable (A10) or the weekly Chinese (A11) or the stable Chinese (A11)?

Last, what is the order of the steps to do a correct clean installation of this ROM?

Thank you very much in advance

    FlamesGapps;
    not tested, don't care, but certified with magisk;
    latest a11 Chinese weekly.

    My flashing routine:
    Wipe data, system, vendor, cache, dalvik;
    Erase Data, reboot recovery;
    Flash firmware, ROM, Gapps, DFE (optional for disabling encryption);
    Reboot once to system and either start setting up droid
    Or (optional)
    Reboot to recovery (I'm using latest official twrp) and flash magisk, reboot system and start setting up.

    Cheers

    Redmi Note 8
    I love this rom!
    Thanks a lot : introductor & DotOS team...
    I tried 4 roms which claim to provide a unique/different UI :
    1. DotOS
    2. Revenge OS
    3. Ancient ROM
    4. Descendant ROM
    I found out after using these roms thoroughly that DotOS is the most consistent and polished of them all.
    Also gonna flash DotOS on my Redmi Note 7 !
    💙 from India.

    where can I find it?
    There you go. Under downloads section tap canary. Cheers
    EDIT: I also have to recommend at this point to use the phones reboot menu instead of magisk after updating/installing modules. It could lead to the misbehavior of rebooting to bootloader instead of system or recovery. Needed to fix persist several times (on several roms) in the past to get rid of it.

      Tried this ROM and I like how they managed to simulate MIUI 12 UI yet I didn't like that there is not option to invert navbar nor to whitelist some apps from dark mode nor sunlightmode.
      As it's the first release of these rom so I'd suggest you to wait for features

      Hello. Has anyone been using the latest Stable Build of MIUI MIX? They say it is based on EU ROM but is more optimized and has better battery. I am on current stable EU 12 Stable ROM. Is MIUI MIX better?

      My Battery life is with DotOS great. Now with 56% it lasts until 6 am tomorrow and now in germany it's 3.30 pm. But I had those great batterylife with other AOSP based ROMs too. If you want something special as for UI design then choose DotOS. You will have good batterylife with any stable ROM. I don't know how unstable ROMs impact battery life. I can really recommend DotOS. The design is much better than a normal AOSP in my opinion. I really like that design

      Good morning. To install DotOs I will need some firmware (70 mb file) from miui for everything to work properly ..? (FOD e.t.c.)
