I haven't updated for a few releases, and still rocking 7.9 (from August 14).
Can I directly flash the last 7.11 package on top of it ? Or should I do them incrementialy ?

Dirty flash is possible and should not give issues.

I have this to correct the yellowish white and turn down the saturation, although the saturation can only correctly be fixed if they allow different color schemes for crdroid. I think right now it's the MIUI saturated color scheme and you can't really get rid of it completely by touching these parameters:

I've been using it flawlessly for almost six months now, but since the last build 14/10/2021 it seems that FOD unlock doesn't work when the night mode is activated and turned beyond let's say 70%. No matter what color I use for the scanner the fingerprint gets rejected. I've also tried to add a new finger in security but it tells me that the scanner is dirty. The odd thing is that if I lower the intensity of the red light or turn it off completely it works without problems.

Do let me know if someone else is experiencing this or I might try something to alleviate the issue.

Yes, and no. Activating Night Mode, that puts a red filter all over the screen, does not "break" FOD, but it does make it less accurate and slower.

I believe it is because the red filter affects the light of the FOD, making it weaker, hence it works worse. I'm testing it with extreme night values (so orange screen) and it fails to unlock sometimes, when under normal daylight circumstances it never fails (almost never). Try to press harder with your finger on the scanner light. However other times under the same night light conditions it works fast and nice.

I've got similar problem. I've made clean flash, registerd new finger and and i can not unlock the screen. I have cheap glass protection but it worked on MIUI

FW 12.5.3 Mi Global, crDroid 7.11 and OGapps nano. It is NOT happening to me, as I said. It's just that when you enable Night Light, FOD works a little worse. Yes, sometimes I've tried 4 times and failed, but most of the time it's just slower but goes fine.

Lowest value gives perfectly reasonable yellowish tone, it's actually a weak tone that makes little difference compared to disabling it. I personally have to put a bit more than minimum. Lower than lowest is nonsense, just don't enable Night Light in that case.

If I'm using different keyboards than one that comes with ROM, either Gboard or Swiftkey, the words that I type are underlined. All spell checkers are turned of.
