I did a clean flash for the first CRdroid 7.7. build with the recommended firmware.
I have this problem ever since. Hoped that it goes away with new builds. The Phone app is set as standard app. Already tried to change alarm priority for incoming calls to urgent, but i can not change the value for priorities. They are not edible (grey).

Do a clean flash.
The firmware has changed since the first build.

I am on 12.2.6.0 which should be the right one. But anyway, I will do a clean installation maybe s.th. went wrong the first time.

Has anybody encountered bug when using FullScreen/Immersive gesture magisk mod and custom Launcher (eg. Lawnchair or Nova)? When switching to recent apps, the launcher itself is shown on recent list for a fraction of second, and then it disappears. On crDroid stock launcher there is no such a bug (launcher itself is not visible in recents).

I had a same bug last month. Then i wiped the data of dialer and dialer service. after reboot, the bug disappeared. so odd.

I dirty updated to the version one behind the current version, and everything worked great. Then I dirty updated to the current version, and everything still works great, except the vibration on keyboard presses are gone (while on battery saver). Was this a bug that got fixed, a bug that got introduced in the current version, or something else entirely?
Additional question, can I roll-back by dirty flashing the previous version, or the only way now is for a clean installation? Thanks.

The gestures Magisk module always worked poorly for me.

I'm using the stock AOSP gestures now, but if you need more customization I recommend the UbikiTouch app.

I have tried to use this ROM 3 times now, the setup wizard always crashes. Any chance to find it with gapps pre-installed? Other solutions?

I am on a different custom rom, I have flashed 12.2.6 before, do I need to reflash miui or just format and flash crDroid? Thanks

finally made my poco f2 a daily driver, it was hard to let go of the poco f1 :p have noticed any new apps installed or pre-installed, they have network and sensor permissions enabled as default, will that cause any potential battery drain?
ps also on latest build, when going into apps/crdroid home, when clicking on mobile data & wifi, allow network access + wifi/mobile data etc are missing

Do you mean app->network permissions? Because you can disable an apps network access. Not sure of you can leave it disabled for all new apps by default tho, I can see that being useful too.

last time i made a clean install was on 7.6 because of the firmware that has changed, i've twrp and made all the 7.7 updates via 'update manager', my question is :
Please, is it ok for this one to do directly trough the update manager ? it seems as it makes a dirty flash auto. but i'm not sure
thanks a lot for your job, and the fact that we receive at least twice a month, an update reasures me, even if i'm a noob.(sorry for my broken english; im french )
I made the update via 'CR droid update manager' it seems ok ( about 3 minutes to do the all process ( i'll feed back if i find things that are not ok) everything still here, even Magisk (i changed the name with hidding in 7.6 update) the only thing i have to do is to choose the default sim for sms and calls .

Hello guys I have just installed the latest crdroid 7.8
Everything works great but my device isn't recognized as a Pixel 5 but as Poco F2 Pro. The fingerprint is the pixels just as it says in the description of the rom but the name is not. I installed magiskhide to edit the props manually and it caused a bootloop. I have also tried many pixel5 props magisk modules all of which cause a bootloop. My question is what can be done so the device can be recognized as a Pixel and gain unlimited google photos. I haven't yet tried editing the build.prop in the /system directory because I am afraid it will cause bootloop and I will need to reinstall the rom from scratch. Any tips? Thanks
