I installed this rom, but I keep on getting the G logo from google with a spinning icon below.
I let it run for 2 hours, but the phone did not get past this spinning logo.
Any advice?

I wiped cache, dalvik, data and did a clean install with the latest version of firmware, twrp and your rom.

Any advice how to get it working on Oneplus 5?
Hi, I have the same problem as you, did you figure out how to get it running

I want to give it a try with this ROM. I am current on OxygenOS 10.0.1 official.
I have several questions regarding flashing:

1. Which recovery should I use to install this ROM?
2. Should I format my data partition?
3. Is it rooting procedure the same as before, with Magisk Manager?

1. Orangefox is a beautiful recovery that worked for me.
2. Yes, without formatting the data partition my system wouldn't boot.
3. I believe it is, but don't quote me on that.

I have flashed ROM and at the first glance it looks awesome. But one thing I forgot to do is to enrypt device, because I need that for the work profile account. How can I do that now, when I have rooted phone?

Not sure if this one support encryption. Arrow 11 has just started supporting encryption on EXT4(not f2fs) on their builds

Just installed, love the pure pixel rom, just one request. Can you compile without the covid-19 tracker app google calls Safety app?
Thanks

I want to upgrade from previous build, when I do, the phone boots back to recovery. I have tried clearing cache and dalvik-cache with the same result. So I flashed the old build to be able to successfully boot again.

For those having trouble installing, these are the steps I took.

The new release of 12-24 is encrypted, all I did is factory reset: flash 10.0.1 Firmware, rom and reboot. (no gapps) I was previously encrypted.
I used twrp-3.4.0-10-mauronofrio recovery, pretty simple.

If your decrypted from previous builds your going to have to format userdata, and this 12-24 build would encrypt your installation.

Am I understanding things correctly, currently PEX and regular PE have basically feature parity because both are a beta and therefore lite build, without any extra features?

Could you please help me to install your ROM?
I tried it about 4h now but I have still no luck.

I did a factory reset, installed firmware 10.0.1 from here
installed your ROM but it restarted always after the OP5 Logo with the android below appeared.
  1. Start the Phone
  2. See the Android Logo
  3. Rebot
  4. It boots into the recovery automatically
  5. repeat

Do you have any suggestions?

Edit:
Nevermind, I did a full wipe as well and now it works...

Sorry for the double post - I was now able to install the ROM successfully after a few hours.
Just one more question: are there any known issues with Rooting? I tried the Magisk Manager and while it said I should have root access now it didn't work, same goes for an older SU.zip I found.
Could someone eventually help me? I followed this guide here step by step but I don't have root access. Never had trouble before this ROM

Hi everyone! I'm currently running the older version and the USB doesn't get recognized by the laptop anymore (it used to work). Now I'm stuck with the old version and I don't know what to do because my OP5 is decrypted and I can't flash the new one because the phone has to be encrypted. I tried flashing again the old version but I still have the USB problem! Help please

Thank you! unfortunately it doesn't work. Is there any way I can flash without having to format data? I think the USB recognition is a problem caused by the rom, I feel kind of stuck here.
