First time installing crDroid to your Redmi Note 5 Pro/AI, or coming from another ROM:

** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Treble Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Flash magisk (optional)
7) Boot up

For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk 21.x or newer (whatever is most recent).

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Seems that system slows down when WLAN and Bluetooth enabled together.

It's ok!Other bugs?Can u also check if all subfolders on internal SD show their content?also does this rom have option to customize navbar buttons actions?

Just installed this version on a crDroid 6.9 install.
The upgrade went fine, but in the end the SIM card was not detected.
So I reinstalled it also wiping the data partition, now it looks to work fine (but i have to restore everything )

This custom rom is perfect. But please don't suggest NikGapps, its so buggy. My face unlock was not even working with NikGApps flashed. Many other user experience similar bugs with NikGApps.
Use & suggest FlameGapps instead. Now my rom is quite stable with that.

I cant approved that. NikGapps are working fine here on my phone with this rom.

I'm using NikGapps macro and all is good.
Make sure to do the clean flash.

Thank you so much for this rom. its very stable.
I had a couple of questions and requests if that's ok!
I cant seem to enable show pill for android navigations will it be added in future ?
also can we install lawnchair with this rom ? given that we of course installed quickswitch too.
I also would like to know can you add a margin for quick settings icons and status bar icons ?

Is anyone is experiencing bootloop after installation ?

I'm coming from Crdroid 6.12, clean flash. After flash with OrangeFox 10.1, phone is stuck on boot logo (more than 15 minutes). Zip installation file checksum is OK. After that :
- wiping and retrying without Gapps : same result
- wiping and retrying after OrangeFox updated to 11.0 Stable : same result.

I never had problem before when flashing 6.xx updates from recovery (but some bootloops when updating from OTA).
Luckily, I was able to restore my 6.12 OrangeFox backup, ATM everything is fine.

I will retry to move to 7.0, any advice in my situation ? Thanks.

Could it be some Magisk modules that are incompatible?
