[CLOSED][ROM][11.0][OnePlus 3/3T] Pixel Experience [Plus Edition][21/09/2021]

Hehe, I did the same, twice this year... both times ordered an OLED OEM replacement, I love these colors. Guess I dodged a bullet there, as I prefer the "other" PixelExperience by PlayFriik.

I would assume there's something in the kernel, not the ROM itself, since that's what interfaces with the screen. What are the issues you're having with other ROMs? Does it pop up before the ROM boots or in TWRP?

It doesn't show anything in twrp while installing. After few minutes of installation it has this weird screen problem

I also replaced my oneplus 3t screen with an LCD screen, and faced same problem as you in another custom roms other than pixel experience. I guess the problem is due to multi finger gestures like 3 finger screenshot ..

And double tap to wake also doesn't work

even with gestures off problem persists with stock and other roms

I have replaced the OEM display to another cheap display for 2500rs. whenever I put my cellphone in the pocket for few minutes the display malfunctioning like drop down notification automatically pop's down and the touch applied randomly on the display am suffering from after display replacement. I should have kept the broken display was worked fine even when it cracked.

what about the mic, Does it record the audio like 9.0.6 build ?. I used to record audio and I use sing app in this rom the audio quality while recording is bad.

Everything is back good for the cheap third party screen for me. It lights up every time I press the power button in ver 0921.

why it has only google camera go only. the audio through microphone is not great compared to the stock rom so am sticking with stock rom for now, if camera and audio good then I can switch to pixel 11

The things that I miss in this ROM is the camera software, audio and mic quality. Stock oneplus ROM is much better.

start installing a recovery as twrp (files and instructions at: https://twrp.me/oneplus/oneplusthree.html section "fastboot")

then download zip rom file, format all partitions, and install it!

I just grabbed my burried one plus 3 and flashed this, must say great work!
I just could not install vanced YouTube like i would with root variant, it failed but worked installing it as non root Method. Yes i have magisk
Also i could Not find any working EAS Kernel, i even tried the brand new ones from mady51 who continued the work of another dev who did the eas kernel


UPDATE: this Rom fckn rocks, geting smooth 59fps and no disconnections playing pokemon unite ;¶
Wasnt easy through the other roms ive tried so huuge thx for stability and performance, last may came from FDE+uperfmagisk module in combination with this rom, saftynet passed i just fine after activating magisk hide option inside magisk and reboot, that was enough

If you try other ROMs, AND you have ever replaced your screen with a non OEM screen, you could end up with frequent black screens annoyingly difficult to get out of. Only this PE ROM, seems to be the one which resolved this. Pretty cool, I say.
