[ROM][11.0][ONEPLUS 5] crDroid Android 7.10 [22 SEP 2021]

Hello,

I'm on crDroid 7.8, and i would like to know if any update will be released in futur for this mobile ?

7.9 has been release 1 month ago , and sitll nothing for oneplus 5 on official release page.
7.10 has been rease since few day for recent mobile.

I have crDroid 7.9 on my Oneplus5...

7.10 had, for instance, a boot loop problem and it's a bad Idea to install It.

You can find them and more on the Telegram Group, not here, and I don't know why.

Upgraded directly from the phone work like a charm , i've juste received a notification to upgrade my phone

I just installed the rom.
Its excellent.

I cant find call recorder.
Is there any way to enable it?

In caller... is it enable the noise cancellation?

Call volume not working.
When i make a call (with or without speaker on) and press the volume buttons,
the call volume go up/down
but the voice sound is always the same.

In addition the lift to check phone not work.

When i have a call and i have enable speaker, they hear me with echo.
When i disable the speaker, they hear me without problem.

Call recording is in your dialer settings, go to "Sounds and vibration"...at the bottom you can find "Auto call recording"

Hello, I tried to gain root access in my device. I installed twpr, but when I was trying to install magisk, the device got stuck in the logo screen. I tries to follow some tutorial, but things got worse, and now I have "No OS intalled" message inside of Twrp, I have tries different things including installing the original android version via ADB but I get an error message "Zip treble compatibility error" Invalid zip format.
I dont know what I can do, at this moment I am a bit desperate because I use the mobile to work and it has been blocked since yesterday. Could someone help me, please?

Not sure what help can I offer.
If you still have TWRP recovery working, make sure you have latest from twrp.me site.
Then try to do full wipe and install crDroid + latest (none alpha) magisk.

If you don't have working TWRP.
You should try going stock first. Download stock firmware (check here in xda) and stock recovery.
Boot to fastboot and flash stock recovery.
The. Flash stock firmware.
Boot phone and follow the process of putting TWRP and custom ROM again.

I can go into TWRP but I cannot use it, I think most of the internal folders are gone, and most of the functions are not working. I tried to go to stock first. But fastboot was not working anymore. I am goint to check about stock recovery and see if I can fix it. Thanks for the help

I think so, but I am not enable to reinstall TWRP like the first time. Fastboot mode is not working, I am still trying with the unbrick tool, but no success.

I tried this ROM today. While everything looks good, there is a delay in incoming call notification. I get the pop up of incoming call after 5 or 6 rings. I can hear incoming call tune ,but no popup for 4 of 5 rings.

After the latest update (10-11-21) my phone will not send the voice part of call audio over bluetooth to my car. My media plays fine, I can make and receive calls (dialing part), however there is no voice audio. I do get the noise from the buttons/keypad during the call. When I would expect to hear a voice, there is just silence. I have tried removing and recreating the pairing, and there was no change. Does anyone have any suggestions for things to try? Loosing the ability to make safer calls while driving is a deal breaker for me.

For my installs I do this:
-have twrp installed (orangefox)
-wipe all except vendor
-format
-reboot back into recovery (sets initial folder structure)
-install firmware 10.0.1 (if you already are on this then ignore, you only need to do it once)
-install rom and gapps
-install xxx-no-verity
-reboot into system and go through login process
-reboot into twrp and install magisk
-reboot back into system and finish magisk install through app


did I miss anything? I like being decrypted cause I dont have anything important and I find it easier cause its old-school

Yeah... Use a kernel manager e.g. smartpack to boost the sensitivity
