Maybe your gapps are causing some problems. I dont use gapps and dont have problems updating.
Have you removed pin/password/fingerprint/face data and flashed latest firmware? That also causes problems while updating.

I reinstalled everything from zero. Maps was working perfectly without Magisk 21.
So Magisk is the source of this issue.
Once installed, Maps begins to crash, like 1s after launch.
But at least this time, waze (for exemple) works (get location). that's an improvement. Probably because I installed the openGapps 1st, so Google Location Provider was installed first.

About the bluetooth, there something. My bluetooth headsets (work and sport set) are working. The association with my home-cinema amplifier works, but once associated the connection is lost and can never be obtained... strange. :crying:

Oh man this shii...ttt was fu...in sick 😍
But it's not ready yet, when this rom will get enough stability ?
In fact nothing worked properly, it didn't even boot up when I flashed gapps
But UI and options was stunning 😜
Just give me a date... When should I try it?

Issue 1:
Your latest rom from 06/12 cannot be flashed, it says invalid zip file format.

Issue 2:
If I tried the second latest, 27/11, I can flash it, but one I reboot, I see Powered by Android and then the phone reboots back to twrp mode.
It won't boot on this rom.
I wiped cache, dalvik, data and followed your instructions, with the firmware you mentioned.

Any advice how to get it working on Oneplus 5?

I did your steps, including variety, but now I just get an icon of an eye that keeps there forever with colors sliding over them on boot.

I followed these steps:
  1. Wipe Data under Advanced (Do not use Format Data - which erases internal memory)
  2. Wipe System and Cache under Advanced
  3. Flash required firmware
  4. Flash ROM + Gapps
  5. Flash variety zip (it says forceencrypt: false, dm-verity: false, disc quota: true) after installing the default zip
  6. Reboot
Do I need to be rooted first or is there some other thing I need to do, in order to get past the eye that keeps on loading?

At first I wasl in a boot loop, with your new version.
I had to flash variety again.

Then after that, I am still seeing your eye logo loading screen, on which it stays stuck for over 20 minutes.

1) Variety zip: which options should I choose? Should I rename the default file?
2) Should I maybe wipe something else? I don't mind losing everything on it.
3) Should I lock the boot loader again maybe first?
4) Do I maybe need to root it?

Any other things that could cause it?

Arrow works better, I don't understand why to produce identical firmware without adding new features.

imho, arrowos sucks. its just a bit better than lineage. i want a ROM with customizations, but others just enjoy the stock experience. what im trying to say is that we all have our own preferences. if you dont like this ROM, then just stick to another or better yet... build your own.

IMPORTANT:

Recommended to use FlameGapps with Android 11 for now
Use R11-compatible recovery for decryption support else remove PIN before rebooting to recovery

I flashed your rom, then flamegapps, I rebooted, but I end up in a boot loop.
I see that the bootlocker is unlocked warning, then it reboots itself and I end up in twrp again.
What could I do to get everything working again? My phone is broken since mid december now...
Should I replace twrp with orangefox?

Did someone try latest build with latest NanoDroid?

Sorry for asking about that topic so often but I want to return to CrDroid...but only in case of working MicroG compatibility.

Edit: NO CHANCE TO GET CRDROID RUNNING WITH MICROG...TRIED IT ANOTHER TIME.

GOOD BYE CRDROID...

@nobuddy89 thanks for the update, finally the lock screen is working.but there are still things that bother me.
-aptx is not working,I can only select AAC.
-no built in camera (I don't know if I'm the one who has to install it or it should come with a camera app but for me it's not showing).
-also when using apps that has "take photo" it will say the camera is not available. But camera apps work, like opencamera works but apps like Facebook or twitter it will say ”camera not available"
-and an app ”stremio”(an app like netflix but you can watch anything for free)keeps crashing when I open it.

I'm using the 03/20 build of CRdroid and FlameGApps-11.0-full-arm64-20210319-BETA
Tried clean flashing, dirty and tried the 7.2 Version but still the same,
I attached some screenshots of some log files, I don't know if that how you do it.
I hope this well help to make this rom perfect.
