im rooted and using Swift Backup but when i go to uninstall a app ell apps show up but Google Chrome Browser which is the app i want to get rid of..
any ideas ?? thanks

I am considering trying out this rom based on some random info online when searching for "how to hide the status bar". But it's very possible it won't help me and I'm a bit worried about flashing it in the first place, so I'd like to ask people that already have this rom:

Have you tried hiding the status bar?

As far as I know, the only "promising" way (on A11) is using Magisk + G-VisualMod, using which you set the status bar height to 1 (or 0).

Sadly, when I do that on the stock A11 rom, the contents of the status bar are hidden, but apps are still rendering as if the status bar was there, and I have an empty ugly space at the top like this:

Is someone here that tried hiding the status bar, and whether with the PixelExperience rom, you get a truly full-screen view in all apps, or whether it sucks like in the posted screenshot where a space at the top is still unused?

I would really appreciate if someone could give it a shot and post their experience here

In my opinion , I would say try to look for some other rom maybe DotOS or Derpfest ROM are some of the good ones because this ROM has been discontinued as the maintainer for this specific device has left so no future updates of any sort nor will there be any feature updates until another maintainer comes along

I think this has been reported by multiple users, same goes for me.
No solution has been posted as of yet.

Perhaps it's because it forces the phone model to be a HD1911(INDIA) while my phone was originally a HD1913(EUR) ?
Just speculation but for example the widevine certification is somehow tied to your model name (HD1913 in my case).
