What I would do is first remove the Google account from the phone, then restart. Then after reboot go to settings ->apps, and find the play store. Clear the data and the cache and then hit uninstall. That will revert back to older version. Then reboot your phone again. Then open play store, sign in with account and then in the play store settings, under about, click on the version and it will check for an update. If that doesn't fix it then you can try clearing your cache from recovery also. If still no I would download the latest apk yourself and install it to see if it fixes it. If not then you might have to factory reset.

Double check that you have the latest version installed for the play store and Google play services.

Another thing you can check is permissions for the play store and Google play services. Make sure they have all the right permissions enabled and make sure allow network access is on for them too.

I was just thinking about your issue and you said your account was already on the device. So I wonder if your problem is with the authentication for purchases in the play store instead of the account itself. Try turning off that setting for purchases if you have it on. And turn off Your screen lock if you have a fingerprint enabled. That's the only other thing I can think of. Unless it's another app causing the problem like Google services framework or something like that. Either way let us know what happens

Try running this command before flashing: fastboot -w

I have already uninstalled the firmware, but I see the same problem on the Pixel extendet. It has a market version 22.4.25-21 [0] [337959405]

I reverted to stock oos but i have the same problem with google play and account. On other phone everything is ok. i could corrupt some paritition for google play ?
I reverted to stock with msm tools and edl

The rom is too aggressive in the management of the task killer,
Waze is closed when the screen is off.

Clean flash, vanilla build, open gapps pico, all works fine by the way !
