Anyone with a 8T have not working earphones? I have latest havocOS and USBC-JACK adapter. I tried two pair of earphones with JACK and they work for the first 3 seconds, then the audio goes again through speakers even if they are still attached. On lineage they were working fine..

Anyone else having issues with the fingerprint scanner when the night light is on high intensity? I'm running on 4.15 gapps version.

Not sure if it's been reported but with Smart Pixels enabled I couldn't tap on permission notifications.

I'm on 4.16

I have to report that after updating 4.15 to 4.16, my phone refused to accept my pattern to unlock it. Somehow I managed to use fingerprint for a while, but after a few hours I could not do anything with the phone because of the wrong pattern. I do remember my pattern (used the same for years) but it does not work anymore after the update.

So I flashed TWRP and deleted some files to bypass the lockscreen (following this video) and it worked. I booted the phone and lock screen was gone, I could pull notification bar and go into settings. However my phone won't inizialize properly, it is stuck on the first screen: inizialyzing device... and home/multitasking gestures nor the launcher gets loaded.

I tried to set up a new pattern, but still it does not solve anything. TWRP still asks me to decrypt /data with a pattern I do not know because my usual pattern does not work anymore. I also tried to sideload rom zip, delete some apps data, reset app settings, nothing..

Is there any solution for this? It basically forces me to erase all my data because of this broken dirty flash.

You must have deleted a wrong file or something. I think you might have to use the msm tool and start over. Also if you're rooted there is an app called migrate that makes it really easy to keep your files and settings when changing Roms or after reset.

just wondering if anyone is using this awesome rom with verizon and does 5g work? i couldnt get 5g on this rom after install so I did the edit carrier policy files through qpst(followed guide on here). no matter what carrier policy files i put back on the phone it will not get 5g signal/5g icon in status bar. on verizon chat a bazillion times and they keep saying even though i do have a 5g sim, the OP8T is only global unlocked 4g and will not get 5g service.....and then of course want to sell me a verizon branded phone lol.

Maybe it's the area you live in? Did you check coverage on their map?

the area im in has 5g coverage....my girlfriend has a branded verizon iphone on verizon and she gets 5g. when i look at my 8T its only 4g. ive even ran that network guru to see and it shows LTE 4x4....every once in awhile network guru will show nsa-nr for a split second and then its right back to LTE 4x4 and never shows 5G icon in status bar

I know occasionally I will look at my phone and see 4g, but its usually when my coverage isn't very good. Is your preferred network type NR/LTE/TDSCDMA/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA? You can try resetting your network settings, but you will have to re enter your wifi passwords and everything. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you. I know a lot of people that are getting 5g right now are getting speeds similar to 4g anyways if that makes you feel any better lol.

@nneves Sorry, i didn´t try without Magisk, cause since CyanogenMod 9 i run my devices with #root ^^.
But just try if it works without. You can flash Magisk later with adb sideload if it´s needed.
    :)
Remember that you have to be on OxygenOS Android11 and not A12.
You have to downgrade with MSM Tool if you have already updated to OxygenOS Android12.
