I know occasionally I will look at my phone and see 4g, but its usually when my coverage isn't very good. Is your preferred network type NR/LTE/TDSCDMA/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA? You can try resetting your network settings, but you will have to re enter your wifi passwords and everything. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you. I know a lot of people that are getting 5g right now are getting speeds similar to 4g anyways if that makes you feel any better lol.

Yea that is the setting I had the phone on with preferred network type. I ended up chatting with oneplus support(again), they said get back to me in 24hrs....in the email said only way for 5g to work was to update the OOS system to android 12, which i did, but didnt actually give it a chance.....msm it back to OOS 11 and manually updated it to the last version of android 11, then installed EvoX 12.1 rom.....did all that carrier policy file swap stuff and.......works as supposed to/5G

Had flashed it on my 8T last weekend.
Just flash Magisk 23.0 with sideload, then activate Magisk Hide in the App.
(beeing certified device in the Playstore App, it needs some time.... few hours...)

@nneves Sorry, i didn´t try without Magisk, cause since CyanogenMod 9 i run my devices with #root ^^.
But just try if it works without. You can flash Magisk later with adb sideload if it´s needed.

Remember that you have to be on OxygenOS Android11 and not A12.
You have to downgrade with MSM Tool if you have already updated to OxygenOS Android12.

Yep, it´s 12L design which i also don´t like.
Thats why i went from Nameless (which is a good ROM) to Havoc after some days.
Just wanted to try something other after years on Lineage on all of my devices.... hehe

Only pass SafetyNet with Magisk?

I'm using magisk 24.3 and safety net fails, but it doesn't cause any problems and device is still certified in play store.

Also, you can still hide magisk from apps too if you enable the beta denylist setting below

Jaguar ROM is active and security patches every month. Great ROM.

New Update 4.19 is available since yesterday.
Security Patch July 2022.
Everything fine so far on my 8T.
Magisk (i use v23.0 with Magisk Hide) still working and Safetynet Check also passed.

I tried using the update tool to perform an OTA update to 4.19. the rom seemed to update fine except later I noticed that the cell service had stopped working. I tried using the same OTA update app to install 4.16 from a downloaded package and now the phone is in a bootloop. I then tried to re-flash 4.16 per the initial install guide and the boot loop persists. I thought it might just be a first boot type of delay but I've waited over an hour. Ugh
