Installed with clean flash ,no problem at all but the High battery drain is still here , -18% over night ( 7h ) on wifi , any way to solve this?

CTS passed default now in latest build please use latest stable magisk and hide magisk manager

After flashing havoc os 4.9, my OnePlus 8T getting crash, and Qualcomm crash dump screen comes after few minutes, I switch to havoc os 4.9 from lastest oos! Anyone plz help

Hello everybody,

I have just bought the 8T and I am still on stock. One of the main reasons I consider switching to another ROM would be to be able to unlock the phone via fingerprint when the screen is off, since this feature is not offered in stock ROM.

So my first question is: Does this reliably work on this ROM?

Second question:
The most important things to me are
- stability
- battery life
- OTA-ability
- OOS cam
- off-screen gestures

Thats why I only consider this ROM and derpfest. Can anyone tell me if these features work well and what the differences to derpfest are?

I'm using Havoc os on my phones for years, not only Oneplus 8T, and tried Derpfest for 8T aswell but came back to Havoc, so to answer (most) of your questions:

- stability:
The stability is very good, you wont notice any problems here.

- battery life:
Battery life is also good, (in my opinion better then Derpfest). If I look at to day; from 06:45 this morning till now 14:00 I still have 75% battery left for today, screen on time is 1,5h and listened 4 hours to youtube trough my bluetooth headphone.

Yesterday I used my phone from 07:00 in the morning till 23:00 in the evening and had 10% left but I played almost 3 hours of Pokemon Unite with it so in my opinion that are good stats.

- OTA-ability:
Yes there is.

- OOS cam
I'm not a professional photographer and take mostly photos of my kids but OOS cam is fine, have no complaints there only 1 small bug I noticed just yesterday; when I use nigtsight sometimes I get a weird over exposed photo, so I need to retake the photo so now and then.

- off-screen gestures
I only use double tap and fingerprint scanner so can't tell you much here, other then the above 2 work fine.

- what the differences to derpfest are?
For the most part Havoc and Derpfest are alot alike, only Derpfest is some what more customizable if you look at battery icons, Fonts etc.

Mine says similar 88%. I'm guessing it's not accurate. My phone is not very old

Nevermind I figured it out. Adaway was causing problems with Amazon and PayPal Incase anyone else comes across this problem. It's weird that it just started 2 days ago because I've had adaway longer than that, but whatever.

Did you find a solution or you just uninstalled Adaway?
My guess would be that inherent webserver was enabled , you need to disable that.

I didnt realize I had the strictest blocking enforced. 90k+ Sites list So I changed it to a different one and everything is back to normal.

I haven't seen any split screen In the rom. Usually it's accessed in your recent apps, but I don't see it. I could be wrong though. And not sure if you figured out the chat bubble thing, but that's in android messages app itself, in the settings.

yeah i saw the settings for chat bubbles are "on" or "off". android is really slacking with those
