oh duh so just the same as flashing but dont factory reset at the end. i'm a boob.
another thought, without twrp, are there any nandroid/twrp backup type options? just cause ive had bad experiences with dirty flashes before
Oh okay so you're familiar with the fastboot flash method. Then yeah, same steps, just no wipe haha. Sorry. I went way too far with that guide I guess :)

And I'm the last person to ask about backup solutions, sorry :\ I never back anything up or have anything worth backing up so I never have this issue. Sorry I can't help here.

Hello sir, will soon come another update?
use this Rom now 2 weeks and am so far very happy. So far the most mature custom rom.
Bugs that I found:
- Bluetooth is not recognized by other devices.
- Bluetooth music (Spotify, radio, co.) Stuttert sometimes.
- Now and then when unlocking from the AoD, the fingerprint icon remains on the screen.
- Quick settings are sometimes pulled down unintentionally.
- Brightness control (High brightness) is very hard to tune, maybe you have tips?
- A kernel tuning/adjustment for the battery life would not hurt. Unfortunately, all custom kernels do not work on this Rom.

Greetings

Did you flash to OOS stock before flashing this ROM? Most of these issues don't exist for me on this ROM.

Brightness control is the only one i've experienced. Battery life has been excellent.

It's just 9pm, dark and tada the finger print logo has hung up again. I suspect it's because I tried to unlock my phone with the fingerprint and face unlock tried to brighten the screen.

I installed this rom cleanly, before that I used the unbrick tool to have a clean OOS, then I updated OOS 11.0.7.10 to 11.0.8.14.KB05BA. After that I flash HavocOS.

I found 0 bugs with bluetooth or quick settings.
I do notice the AOD warning message is pretty bright. Honestly this is the most stable custom rom I've ever used and I've been doing custom roms since clockworkmod came out
Anyone else having issues with auto-screen brightness? Its very inconsistent for me. Anything I can do to adjust? Maybe an app?

The problem with the automatic brightness is that if I don't activate "Automatic height brightness" the screen is quite hard to read as soon as the sun shines a little on it, if I activate it I have the problem that it sometimes gets bright much too early and that it just goes to maximum brightness.
If you could adjust the normal brightness a little, so that this would have more lux, would be mega.

For the problem with the remaining fingerprint, see the picture.

And as I said, sometimes I unlock the phone with my finger and then the notification pulls down immediately?

However, I agree with you that this is the most stable Oneplus 8T Rom so far, which is also suitable for everyday use.
It is all the more important to talk about small details/bugs.

We improved Automatic brightness, yes it's better then previous one but not great because OnePlus might using oos patches for automatic brightness so we can't match to oos and I never faced random notification pull down and no one report those issues expect you, also the fod bug occurs when you using fod and faceunlock simultaneously so restart system ui it's fix fod bug

I've actually been impressed on how fast and accurate the fingerprint scanner is on this rom. Usually I've had problems with it on other roms but not this one. That's odd. Did you switch straight from OOS to this rom or what? If you flash the latest oxygen to both slots before flashing a custom rom it seems to run a lot more smooth
I agree. The FP sensor is fast and accurate compared to OOS. I love it!

If anyone have issues with FP, flash the firmware from the thread below and see whether it helps!
