@chandu dyavanapelli thank you for your amazing work and keep it up. I have but one request. Could you pleaaaase include the feature to copy text directly from recents screen. Coming from a pixel and pixel experience rom is a feature i cannot do without? Is it doable?

Dear all,
Please take note that on XDA we need to follow not only GPL, but laws and regulations as well. Hence, do not discuss any crack or pirate software or toolkit topics on XDA, otherwise the posts will be removed.

If you like the app and could afford to pay for it, support the developers by purchasing a copy/license.

Thanks.

Is there an immersive mode in this rom that ignores the notch in portrait mode.. not landscape. one of the things is miss from my old 7 pro.. i saw there is an option for fullscreen apps in one of the tutorial videos. Ignoring the notch also helps prevent burn in and using full screen is so much more immersive.

Literally first custom ROM I've thrown on a phone since 2015, my first post on XDA since then as well! Was getting bored with the 8t, totally digging it again! Couple little quirks, but still pretty solid! Digging it, thanks for the hard work! Can't wait for the update!

    Hello everybody,

I have just bought the 8T and I am still on stock. One of the main reasons I consider switching to another ROM would be to be able to unlock the phone via fingerprint when the screen is off, since this feature is not offered in stock ROM.

So my first question is: Does this reliably work on this ROM?

    Second question:
The most important things to me are
    - stability
    - battery life
    - OTA-ability
    - OOS cam
    - off-screen gestures

Thats why I only consider this ROM and derpfest. Can anyone tell me if these features work well and what the differences to derpfest are?

    Thank you very much!
I'm using Havoc os on my phones for years, not only Oneplus 8T, and tried Derpfest for 8T aswell but came back to Havoc, so to answer (most) of your questions:

    - stability:
The stability is very good, you wont notice any problems here.

    - battery life:
Battery life is also good, (in my opinion better then Derpfest). If I look at to day; from 06:45 this morning till now 14:00 I still have 75% battery left for today, screen on time is 1,5h and listened 4 hours to youtube trough my bluetooth headphone.

Yesterday I used my phone from 07:00 in the morning till 23:00 in the evening and had 10% left but I played almost 3 hours of Pokemon Unite with it so in my opinion that are good stats.

    - OTA-ability:
    Yes there is.

    - OOS cam
I'm not a professional photographer and take mostly photos of my kids but OOS cam is fine, have no complaints there only 1 small bug I noticed just yesterday; when I use nigtsight sometimes I get a weird over exposed photo, so I need to retake the photo so now and then.

    - off-screen gestures
I only use double tap and fingerprint scanner so can't tell you much here, other then the above 2 work fine.

    - what the differences to derpfest are?
For the most part Havoc and Derpfest are alot alike, only Derpfest is some what more customizable if you look at battery icons, Fonts etc.

    Hope this helps a bit!
    Happy flashing ;)

Hello, yesterday (with the help of @BillGoss) I successfully flashed Havoc-OS to my OnePlus 8t. I have been a fan of Havoc since I had it on my 7t so it's nice to be back to the familiarity and the customizations you guys do a fantastic job. There is one issue that I am experiencing that could turn into a problem for me so I'm hoping to get it figured out fast. (Also I really hope I'm putting this post in the right place, if not please direct me, thank you) When my wifi is on my internet goes away, or at least mostly away. It seems that when I first go to a page or app there is a burst of data, small and very short-lived and I watch my internet speed very rapidly fall to KB/S and finally to 0.00 KB/S with "site can't be reached" errors. When I turn wifi off it seems to work fine.

I have TWRP and Magisk installed successfully with busybox ndk root checker shows all green I haven't done any magisk modules yet. If any other info is needed please let me know. I'm thinking if this were more of an issue I'd be able to find talk about it but I am not finding any current talk about this issue so I'm hoping someone will have ideas of what I can try to help.

Thank you in advance for your time!
Yes, you are on the right place however on Havoc telegram group you might have faster reply on this...

There is no dolby atmos in v 4.8, is there a way of installing it?

Having the same problem with CTS profile, as soon as I root my phone i can't get CTS profile to pass. already tried everything accept 4.9 build. On other ROMs I don't have this problem, but i'm using Havoc for years now it's my nr. 1 ROM to go but I need CTS profile to pass :(

@Arson47 could you tell me if the problem is fixed for you in 4.9 build?
CTS passed default now in latest build please use latest stable magisk and hide magisk manager
