Well, I am trying to fix every single bug (that I can find) TWRP has before releasing it officially. @apophis9283 likes to experiment and release. In his own words: "f*ck around" Use either of our builds and you guys should be fine
Hey bud, thanks for the explanation, its appreciated. Im still playing with it, trying to update the rom via TWRP but it wont have it.. still learning how to use this again LOL
Either way great work man! A buggy twrp is still better than this payload bullcrap haha keep up the good work!
If not fixed, pick my ooscam commit it's public nowSo I did get ooscam to install and what no but it's still pretty buggy so I'm still debating if I wanna release a build with ooscam. What do you guys think? Release it when it comes release time with a buggy ooscam or wait till it's more stable? So far the bugs are If you want camera capture to not fc after saving the image on 12mp (wide mode) then disable wide mode correction in the applications setting (probably missing a library).
Portrait mode still needs to be fully fixed.
Black/white camera doesn't work.
Unable to switch to video
Switching to 48 mp makes camera f/c
Thanks for that feedback, I'll look into it. I don't use dual sim so didn't know this was a issue hahaThis ROM is great. Thank you for this.
I have two observations but nothing that is blocking anything.
1. I observed that after reboot, my second sim becomes default for call
2. Call on my first sim doesn't ring because the ring selected shows as none. So I had to set it manually.
May be these are just for me...but wanted to add here.
1st one is something, if fixed would be great.
Thanks once again for wonderful ROM
Yeah I notice it's light too guess it doesn't bug me tho but I'll look into it and see if I can increase it..
Off screen gestures work, don't recommend doing ota's as it seems to mess with persist partitionI don't think 'unlock the phone via fingerprint when the screen is off' is possible on OnePlus. That's cuz OP uses an optical sensor as compared to some Samsung phones that use ultrasonic sensor and have the said feature.
I can confirm the ROM is very stable with great battery life and includes a fully functional OOS cam.
I haven't tried off-screen gestures, OTA or Havoc ROM for that matter so can't comment.

I have just bought the 8T and I am still on stock. One of the main reasons I consider switching to another ROM would be to be able to unlock the phone via fingerprint when the screen is off, since this feature is not offered in stock ROM.
So my first question is: Does this reliably work on this ROM?
The most important things to me are
- battery life
- OOS cam
- off-screen gestures
Thats why I only consider this ROM and Havoc. Can anyone tell me if these features work well and what the differences to Havoc are?
Thank you very much!
Yes and no. I did start with his trees. He's in my small chat on telegram. So yes collaboration was part of it. I made changes outside of his. I had source that had a ton more changes like more options in TWRP etc... But I lost that image and source when Linux entered an unrecoverable state. When I get it all back you can check periodically on my AFH in a few days. Ill have more fixes I'll be adding. Incognito was absolutely fundamental in what I did. I do not want to take away from his amazing work. Once I get everything going again, I'll be sharing my source with him.
