Features and Difference between Pixel Experience Plus and Standard buildPlus? Have things been added/changed? (And can we dirty flash this?)
Yeah, I agree - I ended up clean flashing Plus (didn't try dirty flashing) and I'm getting some considerable battery drain, too. Still made it through the day, but a little concerning.Tried my luck by dirty flashing from 20210708 to 20211014 (Plus).
It seemed to work at first but there is something draining the battery during the night, I found it empty in the morning 2 times already. I guess I will have to do a clean install, either of that one or to revert to non-plus.
@sergej_7 in the top post, the link "Download Pixel Experience from Google Drive" is pointing to a plus edition: PixelExperience_Plus_perseus-11.0-20211013-0551-UNOFFICIAL.zip is it on purpose ?
Are you planning to provide updates of the non-plus build, or will it be only plus from now on ?
Thanks for your work
Display -> Lockscreen -> show Always clock & DateReinstalled the non-plus version today, looking pretty good, battery seems to be doing well. By the way, is there a way to disable Always-On Display after installation? There's the prompt during the OOBE setup process, but after that I can't find a setting to toggle it.
I use AppCloner App for that. There is No built in function in PE Roms afaik
1. I'm with you on that one. The most "easy" way imo would be a tasker profile which modifies *.kl file when phone app is open and reverts the modification when phone app is closed.Hi, ROM is good, but i have 2 questions:
1. How i can disable camera start at slider open event without manual edit any /system/usr/keylayout/*.kl (if it's possible... too inconvenient due to being triggered during a call)
2. Some... how to remap assistant button (to flashlight for example... it's more usefull for me)
Can't find some options in Settings (PixelExpirience and PixelExpirience Plus)..![]()
There is no easy way - okI'm with you on that one. The most "easy" way imo would be a tasker profile which modifies *.kl file when phone app is open and reverts the modification when phone app is closed.
I have no experience in coding unfortunately and can only adapt from other code or change code that is already there so I cant modify the ROM for this change to be included on system-level.
the download links are in the first post
Opps, thanks for that! I'm using the light theme for XDA and I couldn't see the links because they're white lol...

currently i dont have the time to compile an update but I plan on releasing one as soon as possible. No ETA possible at this Point though.Hello my friend and happy new year.is there any update for your rom?
dont install MIUI12 ROM, just flash recommended Firmware afterwards flash PixelExperience and Magisk. I have added flash instructions in third post.Excuse my ignorance, but do I need to install the MIUI ROM first?
I get a bootloop installing with or without MIUI ROM.
I tried:
- V12.0.3.0.QEECNXM
- V12.0.2.0.QEEMIXM
1 - Wipe, Advanced Wipe, Dalvik / ART Cache, Cache, System, Vendor, Data
2 - Install MIUI 12 ROM
3 - Install Pixel Experience
4 - Install Magisk
5 - Reboot
Use that module, hide (rename) the Magisk app, enable Zygisk, enable "Enforce Deny List", and add Google Play Services (com.google.android.gms I think) to the deny list - when searching for it to add it, you may need to use the drop-down in the top right and enable "System apps" to make it show up. You might also need the MagiskHide Props Config module set to the Google Pixel 5, Android 11 fingerprint. Can anyone tell me how to pass Safetynet? I’m running magisk 24.1 with the module Universal Safetynet Fix enabled
