4k 60fps never worked flawlessly on AOSP. SDM845 does not fully support 4k 60fps recording according to Qualcomm. MIUI somehow hacked it to work in certain cases, but it's limited to MIUI only.Hello everyone. The Rom is great and I don't have any major problems with it, but the recording in 4K 60fps does not work, the image is recorded in 4K 30fps and the compass does not work, which can be useful in the dji fly application when flying a drone. Is there any way to fix this? The system is of course the newest, freshly updated.
You should NEVER click the encrypt option in Settings. That option is not for FBE devices.Hi. Tried encrypting my phone and it didn't work, It just restarted and went into a bootloop. For somereason it isn't recognizing my OTG drive so I couldn't restore my backup and had to format data. Not sure if this is related to the ROM or not, but I just wanted to report it.
OTG is not being recognized on OrangeFox either, so maybe my USB-C port is damaged? I have also lost the ability to fast charge apparently.
As always, thanks for your work!
I see, thanks a lot for the info. I got a Google Workspace account and to use it the device asks me to encrypt it, but I guess I'll find another way to use it or just use it on PC if not possible. You should NEVER click the encrypt option in Settings. That option is not for FBE devices.
Forced encryption is disabled on EvoX because it was released like that during the beginning of android11 period. If I enable forced encryption now, users would have to format data to update.
If you really need to enable encryption, you can manually edit the fstab and then format data to bootstrap the encryption. Note that you will need to do this every time you update the ROM, because fstab is overwritten upon ROM flash or OTA.
Try cleaning up your type C port. It's pretty common for things like lint and dirt to get stuck inside.Btw, just in case, do you have any idea why the OTG, fast charging and phone connection to PC might have stopped working? OTG drive connects fine to PC so I guess the cable is ok. And I can charge the phone normally, but fast charging doesn't work and when connecting the cable I don't get the USB menu to change fuctions. If I look for it in settings, all options are greyed out.
It's the same thing. EvoX ships the Pixel launcher, not a generic launcher3. I don't know what happened to your. The best suggestion I can give is a clean flash.
I know. I'm telling you that your log says is it NOT the Pixel launcher that's crashing. It is a generic launcher3 implementation.
Thank you very much for your answer. As for the compass, it actually works. On MIUI I had the old version of DJI Fly, on EvolutionX there was a newer one in which the interface slightly changed.
The battery information is from Qualcomm's kernel driver. No idea what would happen after a battery replacement.Thank you very much for your answer. As for the compass, it actually works. I have one more question; where does the system get information about the capacity and number of charging cycles? I currently have 2753mAh and 678 cycles, the battery is used up. What if I changed the battery, the system will detect it? What happens if the battery is a counterfeit or replacement?
