Does the stabilisation work? I've tried pretty much every version and only 7.4 that the stabilisation work. Sorry if it's not related to the rom.

Chrome updates fine here. If it does not update immediately, come back in a day or two and try again.

I don't think the issue of Telegram is ROM related. Apparently telegram implement voice messages more like a phone call than a music playback. One proof of this is that if you play a voice message, minimize telegram, and then place your hand near the top bezel of the phone to block the proximity sensor, you will see your screen go black, as if you are in a phone call. This is why you do not have any notifications or icons.

Like I said, it seems that telegram uses different implementations between voice messages and other music files. If you are not happy about that, talk to Telegram. There is nothing I can do on the system side.

I've installed cloned 8.0 BSG GCAM the rest doesn't even install one thing that's bothering me is that it doesn't use second lens on the back and app crashes multiple times while capturing multiple photos in latest beta build of PE. Is there any GCAM that's stable and doesn't crash? I've tried 7.3 it was pretty stable but that version doesn't install on latest PE build.

Have you tried installing from CyanogenMod website for mix 2s? Everyone of them work on mine, except only the 7.4 version have everything works (dual camera option and stabilisation).

I used bsg 8.0 on PE and xiaomi.eu rom normally without crash

First, polaris has at least 6GB of RAM so you shouldn't make use of zram very often.
Second, zswap/vnswap is not always better than zram and I tried it half a year ago. The experience wasn't great.

CPU overclock/underclock is not possible on sdm845 because Qualcomm designated OSM initialization to TZ and no longer takes the value from kernel. You may be able to underclock GPU slightly but the battery saving is negligible. Adreno 630 on sdm845 runs at minimum frequency (257MHz) almost all the time and even in many games, because the GPU frequency governor does not raise frequency unless the load is somewhere above 60%. Besides, GPU power consumption is more related to the task and load rather than GPU frequency, at least from what I observed. Therefore, theoretically you can make the min GPU frequency even lower, but that won't give you more power saving, and you may have UI rendering frame drops because a burst high load will not finish in time.

Btw, anyone here know if there's an indication that Volte works? On PE 10 i can see HD indicator on screen during call but on PE 11 i don't see them anymore.

It does use second lense though and I never experienced crashing

Thanks for your update. I found some strange problem with google setup after flash PE+
The setup seem buggy, i entered my gg acc to restore my app and data, suddenly the setup restart, after that i can continue setup. After finishing backup, i find that gg stop restore my app, and when chosing to finish pixel setup, it asks me to reenter my gg acc, i entered my acc but the setup stop again. So confusing, i am flashing the rom again to see if it continue to bug again

I just did the same thing: format data with a clean flash, put in my Google account to restore the backup from the cloud, finished initial setup, successfully restored all apps, and didn't see a single crash. I don't know what happened to your phone...

I found the problem after trying many times with PE and PE+. It come from my previous rơm: xiaomi.eu. When choosing restore from old cloud back up, i choose restore wifi and device settings. Maybe miui backup some setting to google cloud that can't compatible with PE, so the setup is bugged. After trying to not restore device settings, the setup is working normally. Now all i miss is all my wifi password. LoL

Even if it didn't crash, it's not suggested to restore cloud backup from a different ROM, especially from a backup of MIUI that is so different from AOSP. It may seem to work initially, but you could run into weird issues that are impossible to debug later.

Hi, I just came from Arrow OS 11 to this PE+, and I noticed the wifi speed is considerably slower (300+mbps to less than 150-180mbps).
Is anyone else experiencing something similiar?

EDIT: It randomly started working correctly. Maybe it was downloading something in the background I wasn't aware of.
