Some core Google components are spoofed as Pixel 5 so that we can get latest Pixel features. When i go in settings > system > backup > i see pixel 5 backup... why pixel 5? Is that the base of pixel experience?
Because you should follow my steps and do the initial installation through PE recovery, not TWRP. After that, feel free to use whatever recovery you like. The recovery override behavior is the same on any stock ROMs.I lost TWRP for PIXEL RECOVERY..... WAY ?
I need to reinstall it.

We are working on a solution right now. Some reported that that weather can be displayed correctly if you manually add the widget from the Google app.Fantastic ROM. Thanks a lot!
Only thing broken for me is the weather information in the launcher. It's only showing the date.
Tried wiping cache, clean flashing again. Nothing fixes it.
You may run into that problem because you haven't updated for a long time. There were some changes on apex in February, so if you skipped those updates, you may have a bootloop. I don't think there is an easy solution to your bootloop except for formatting data.Hello!
Houston, i have a trouble.
Install last update (previous update was in January) without wipe data and now my phone reboot all time. Please, help!
Fixed: Erase data by Volume Up + Power
Follow the steps.I would like to switch from lineageos 18.1 to PE. Do I have to consider anything special with the (fresh) installation of PE?
Thank you.
For backing up app data, I recommend Swift Backup over Titanium. Ti Backup is old and seems to cause random issues on newer android versions.Hi, I'm still on PE10 from November, I only realised a few weeks ago that updater doesn't work due to a version change. Anyway, I have an unlocked bootloader and TWRP (3.4.0.0).
I would like to backup my current app data (any suggestions? Titanium still?), for which I need root and then upgrade. I would appreciate if someone could confirm my plan so that I don't brick anything.
1) flash Magisk, get root and backup app data
2) flash PE recovery
3) sideload PE11
4) flash magisk (can I do this from PE Recovery?)
5) install app data backup tool and restore apps and data
Check /data/system_updates/Maybe a stupid question, but I downloaded the update via OTA, but can't find the update zip... In which folder is this zip stored?
There was a discussion on this topic a couple of weeks ago, right on this page:Another question... I tried to find an answer within this topic, but did not succeed.
First install of the ROM was performed with PE recovery. Now I use the ROM together with TWRP recovery (twrp-3.5.2_9-0) and Magisk.
After an OTA update, the recovery is overwritten by PE recovery again. Is this normal behaviour or can I do something to keep TWRP?
No problem reinstalling TWRP and Magisk, but just wondering if this is normal.

You can avoid the override by modifying the boot partition. The most common way is just flashing Magisk. If the boot partition remains unmodified, your recovery will be overwritten by PE recovery upon every boot.
