I'm so sorry i did not realize there was a link there i read the message, but didn't see the link was on Mobile at the time. i appreciate you sending the message again thank you.
Did you get this fixed yet? When I installed the ROM I had no issues with Safetynet passing out of the box. I didn't do anything special; no custom fixes or anything. The only thing I can think of is having a fresh install of the stock rom, then installing PixelDust afterwards (I find PD to work better for me than PE as it has more customization), but that probably doesn't have anything to do with it.

I did the suggestion above worked like a charm thank you for following up on that... I really like the originality of PE I'm my only gripe with the custom roma is the Bluetooth connectivity... I'm not sure if there is a fix for it... Also I plan to buy the pixel 6 xl when it releases I've had this phone for like 3+ now it's time for an upgrade

That's good news, glad others were able to help you. I'm getting the Pixel 6 Pro as well, since I've had my 2XL ever since. The battery life is just horrid at this point, and the screen has really shown its age. Few more weeks and new phones are finally here.

Hello, I have installed this rom, when I start the mobile it gives me a message that the bootloader is unlocked. My phone is not rooted. My question is, can the bootloader be locked once the ROM is installed or should it still be unlocked?

I have ventured to install this rom without having knowledge and at the moment everything is great, but I have this doubt.

Do not lock your bootloader when on a custom rom or you will likely brick your device. You must be completely and fully on stock in order to lock your bootloader without bricking your phone. The message you receive is normal when your bootloader is unlocked. Don't worry about it and just leave your bootloader unlocked (which by the way is needed to install custom roms, etc.).

Thank you for your explanation, it has been a great help. As it says, I will leave the bootloader unlocked

Hello thanks for the build it's been working flawlessly for a while now.
Does anybody have any information on how to solve the following problem?
wwhen I try to connect the pixel xl 2 to a router a connection is made but the phone displays a "no Internet" error. The curious part is I can connect to the same router from an iPhone and from a laptop and browse Internet successfully.

I tried resetting Wi-Fi and network settings on the phone but that doesn't work. Problem still persists.

Problem solved after resetting all routers and modems several times. And Actually reconfiguring the router. Well maybe this is a network problem And not a build problem. I don't know. You guys can delete the posts if you want to. But actually already happened twice with the same phone And the buildd. A lot of people have posted about this prroblem On the Internet using Different types of androids.

I have experienced this in this build over the past month. Didn't realise it was a build issue. I was thinking that my subscriber is becoming a headache at times. I'll try switching ROM to check if it's addressed. Not sure where to go, quiet settled here with everything working.

I have 2 2XLs and we haven't turned them into daily drivers yet because Android 12 may be on the cusp and I really don't feel like setting up 2 phones if I have to format data

Since we don't heavily use the phones yet, I've just been keeping them updated every few days (magisk, ROM, and Play Store updates). I noticed that internet does drop from time to time. Sometimes I have to Airplane them on/off to get it back and sometimes I have to reboot the phone. Since it happens with both devices (latest build 202111008-0807), I think we can rule out hardware. I only have gapps, Battery Charge Limit, AdAway (from Fdroid), and Magisk installed... no other apps

I don't know when this started but since you mentioned WiFi issues, I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this

There's a serious amount lag when launching and using camera app. Not always and not all the time but it is often. It also lags sometimes when swiping up to return to home screen.
Even tried playing with different kernels but it's still the same. Anyone else experiencing the same, or has a solution?

Hey guys I appreciate everyone's input. I'm just posting to clarify my issue. It's only happened twice in like four months. And it has to do with networking issues like using several routers and modems switches in the same network. So The phone and build uses wifi perfectly like 99.6 percent of the timme and when it fails it's more of a complex network issue.

Also even computers and drivers And hardware from the mmost expensive retail stores come with issues. Nothing strange about this.

Has anyone experienced any audio problems using this ROM? I have installed Pixel Experience Plus on my Pixel 2 XL and it is running flawlessly except for the audio. When I play Spotify or even my alarm clock starts to play sounds it breaks. It just gets silent for a few seconds and then continues. With alarm clock app it happens always, with Spotify it is more likely to happen when there is a notification coming from any other app (I have muted sounds of notifications, I only have vibrations). If it would be helpful I can try to grab some logs from my phone.

I would like to apologize for not analysing the situation better...
Today's update reverts yesterday's changes due to the cause of several bugs.
With yesterday's update, the alteration of soundtrigger caused the NowPlaying function to not work as intended.
However, with that alteration, it allowed for the playback bug when turning on the screen to not be present.
In other words, I have forced NowPlaying not to work to satisfy the condition for music playback not to lag.
As of the current moment, I am still studying what solution there is to this issue, but in the meantime, if you are annoyed by the playback bug when turning off your screen, kindly disable NowPlaying.
Sorry for the inconvenience, however many new changes have been added to the latest build:

    • Reverted SoundTrigger removal, causing lag when unlocking and playing music playback to fix Now Playing and Ok Google Hotword detection
    • Audio improvements
    • Fixed SEPolicy denials
    • Enabled Wifi-Fi STA/AP concurrency
    • Enabled LED overlays
    • Boost GPU performance
    • Battery improvements
    • Performance improvements

Thanks for your patience and support. :)
