Thanks again for the GApps free version! :)

This is the tidiest and most rudimentary Android I've come across - it's so great! :)

I came from official MIUI 12.0.5 EU ROM. Flashing was "tricky" because creating "system_ext_a" failed, but an initial flash of LOS and then Havoc worked like a charme. Then I flashed a modified boot.img (Magisk).

I didn't have much time for testing, but so far I faced some bugs:

- Telephone app isn't marked as standard telephone app (screen stays off for incoming calls; manually select it as telephone app solved this issue).
- No matter what I set the volume of the ringtone (calls & notifications), it's way too loud and doesn't change at all.
- Struggling with some gestures (animations seem a bit choppy) on the home screen.

Besides that it feels great.

Question:
How to make a screenshot of the home screen?

I want to try this ROM, but just in case I need to install LOS first, where do you guys get it from? I search and could not find any builds for Alioth.
Cheers

Yes, flashing Xiaomi.eu first also did the trick for me.
Everything is looking pretty good, but why isn't there a zip version?
Are flashable zips not outdated and cool kids nowadays use fancy scripts for flashing their roms ;) ?
I could imagine it has something to do with the A/B partition layout, is this correct?
Are OTA-updates still possible then? Or do i always have to update the rom with my PC?

The next update will be a flashable zip. Sorry, I'm finishing exams before I get back to development 😉

Good job for this Rom. It's really a solid Rom. I do encounter some swipe delays but very minimal. The rounded corners aren't perfectly curved rn but it's not noticable unless you look at it. I really miss the Dolby Atmos on MIUI(only thing I miss on MIUI😉), is it possible that you can add it here on future builds?

Good job, keep up the good work.👌👌👌

Don't count on Dolby being added soon on alioth custom roms as it is a proprietary thing.
Maybe when the system is converted to RW we might be able to flash a Dolby Magisk module

Has anyone with the 256 gig version been able to flash a custom ROM?

I tried coming from official 12.02, 12.05 and then EU weekly, all end up with the same partition not found error for system and couple other partitions, message says they don't exist.
Mine is 8/256 model. When I started with 12.05 it would flash pixel extended but not this die to too large product.img. However, after flashing pixel extended (I used it for a while) and then flashing Xiaomi.eu I was able to flash this no problem. Try the Xiaomi.eu I linked in the first post (because I had flashed a custom ROM before flashing it, it bootloops as xiaomi.eu patches the system image rather then flashing a new one. However you can boot into fastboot and flash this)

Thank you, I will give it a try, spent 7 hours yesterday and 4 hours today, so will give it a rest for couple days, I will report back.

Edit: The EU rom linked in op is the one I am currently on, I will try and take some screen shots of the errors that I get when I try again.

Hello! Thank you for your hard work!

Has anyone tried this on a XT1681 (or any other model with 2gb version)?

I'm curious about performance, as the 2gb ram in my device seems to be quite limited.

I especially care about camera running smoothly (ideally gcam).

      Thank you in advance!
Are you sure it's a Poco F3/Redmi K40/Mi11X? I thought they came in either 6GB or 8GB RAM variants

Maybe you could combine your development forces for the one perfect havoc os Rom for this device? So that you don't have to code /test things twice.
Yeah I've contacted him and I'm gonna contribute to his project. Him and I both didn't realize each other were working on the same ROM until I noticed his release
